As the image is non-free, it must comply with our non-free content criteria. As the subject is still alive, it is replaceable with a free image (what's to stop someone taking one? Or donating one?) and so the image cannot be used. J Milburn (talk) 21:33, 14 September 2009 (UTC)

Hello. I am a little puzzled by your creation and use of the {{PragerU}} template. Could you please explain your goal with this? As I see it, the addition of a link to Prager U video lectures for every single lecturer potentially violates a host of policies and guidelines such as WP:ADV, WP:ELPOV, WP:ELMINOFFICIAL, and WP:PROMOTION. --Dr. Fleischman (talk) 20:19, 22 December 2014 (UTC)

Each edit was an improvement to its page (as all edits here should be). In addition, they generally consisted of adding a WP:RS, since what could be a better source on an academic than a short lecture from her? (This is always encouraged here, and is something that many pages are lacking.) Shouldn't every page about an academic or other writer include a lecture from her, if one is available? There is no rule against finding a good online source and making good use of it.

Anyway, if you have better sources, please add them. And if they also provide everything these lectures do, then please replace them. If we disagree about any of these, we can discuss them on their pages. DougHill (talk) 04:13, 23 December 2014 (UTC)

I'm baffled by your response. You're not using these links to support any content, so their reliability is only tangentially relevant. Even if these lectures are "reliable" (for what?), we don't throw random reliable sources into "External links" sections. This strikes me as a violation of the policies and guidelines I've listed above. There is no policy against finding a good website, and citing different pages on that site on the different and appropriate pages here. If you believe that this is not so, then you should please report me to the administrators. I broadly share your views on the singular "they", but I see you have fairly recently edited My Word!, where I have this very day deliberately perpetrated one in the second sentence of the third paragraph of "Later series". It is beyond me to write "during her time" here, which I don't think would help the reader. What think you? While I'm here, you have added a red link to RadioEchoes: do you think it probable that there will ever be an article about that website?
