POV[edit]

There are multiple POV problems with this article that must be corrected.

1) The claim that Machon Meir (MM) is the only Zionist Ba'al Teshuva (BT) yeshiva is true only by a pretty strong view of what Zionism is (MM's view). I don't think it's really true in any sense that doesn't require in-text explanation, but I'm not removing it yet. I don't like to remove things until I have attempted to verify and given others the chance to do the same.

2) I don't know what "new Jewish communities" means. If it's a euphemism for settlements then the word settlements should be used. Otherwise it's misleading to the uninitiated reader.

3) The part at the end about MM loving everyone and what not is fluff and promotional language. I think even language of the form "MM states it's ideology is . . . " would still be inappropriate. Third party material is better.

4) MM is deeply associated with the Israeli nationalist Right and settler movement. That should be clearer in the article as it is one of MM's most notable characteristics. Stuff about affinity to Mercaz Harav is not explicit enough for a general audience.

5) I can't repair the line about post-army Israelis going to MM, because it's a mix of an uncited fact and a strongly POV statement. Just removing the POV material as a temporary measure changes the fact, and who knows if whoever put it there is trying to make the NPOV version of the claim. Leaving the POV material reduces it to a sort of vague statement that only appears to be a factual claim (i.e., how do you decide which post-army men are trying to "deepen their connection to Torah"?).
