Welcome![edit]

Hello, Slb1900, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your recent edit to an article that is part of the Latter Day Saint movement WikiProject. We welcome your contributions and hope that you will stay and contribute more. Here are some links that I found helpful:

If you run into a dispute, please use the Talk pages and the Latter Day Saint movement project talk page to discuss subjects (especially controversial ones) to help reach consensus. But don't be afraid to be bold!! Also, as new Mormonism-related articles are created, please make sure to add them to List of Latter Day Saint movement topics.

Remember to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically add your name and the time after your comments.

And finally, if you have any questions or doubts, check out Wikipedia:Questions, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! -- 208.81.184.4 (talk) 01:19, 13 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Book of Moses[edit]

You changed Be-Reshit to Be-Re***** - I hope that was your software. Dougweller (talk) 09:10, 22 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thanks for catching it. I'm deactivating the thing on Wikipedia. Slb1900 (talk) 16:05, 22 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Good idea. I had one person whose software kept changing the spelling of something, and he was convinced it was me at first - he was more than a bit embarrassed when he found out what had happened (and I thought for a short while he was a vandal!). Redlinks[edit]

Redlinks are appropriate in cases here the subject redlinked is certainly notable. All high schools are notable. Hence redlinks in this situation (Antelope Valley Union High School District) are perfectly acceptable. John from Idegon (talk) 00:37, 22 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • I'll desist since there's an argument against (it's really just one of those whim-edits), though I would say for the sake of reply that a school doesn't need a redlink to be notable; on the other hand, if it were of Wikipedia-level importance (and I believe it is), an article should be made for it. A redlink could actually suggest its importance is less than Wikipedia-level. Nevertheless, I've said my peace, and I'll leave it as it stands. Thanks for the comment. Disambiguation link notification for April 23[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Riverton, Utah, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Payson and Herriman (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
