The conformity issue[edit]

Sources, reliable and otherwise, which consider conformity as a goal of Chinese education:

Problems associated with rapid expansion[edit]

Other[edit]

Needs to be more NPOV and sound encyclopedic[edit]

This article has a bias that obstructs reading of the article, as well as tons of edits by "popposun". The edits usually contribute a small amount of content. The wording of the article sounds like a marketing pitch. In conclusion, this article, which is high importance, is deserving of the "C-class" rating it is given. 74.198.9.11 (talk) 00:21, 2 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have deleted the list of prestigious universities, as that is very subjective[edit]

If somebody can recreate that section with more neutral wording and more importantly, sources, feel free to add. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 123chess456 (talkcontribs) 00:27, 2 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Large scale unsourced material deletion[edit]

I will start deleting material that is unsourced. 123chess456 (talk) 00:33, 2 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Assessment comment[edit]

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:Higher education in China/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

This is an informative article but seems to be written (I'd guess) by a Chinese person who's not 100% fluent. Several phrases aren't clear, while their overall meaning can be grasped. Time for a re-write!
