All these accounts participate in unconstructive and disruptive edits, reverting to the same edits and use the same broken english. They are vandalizing continuously Greek music articles, such as Music of Greece, Zeibekiko, Laïko and Larissa. Three of the four user-accounts (the ones with name) where created in the sam half hour only to make the same hasty reverts as their predecessor. Two of the ip's where allready blocked for 24h (62.38.21.106 and 62.103.23.198 ), most of them where warned more then once.Yangula (talk) 21:52, 8 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

He is making constantly the same rv and edits with multiple IPs in the last month or so. He is not capable of the English language, I tried to communicate with him in Greek with no response from him whatsoever Yangula (talk) 11:39, 23 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • information Administrator note I've blocked all three IPs for two weeks and protected some articles. Hopefully that's enough. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 12:32, 23 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Same kind of edits to the same type of articles, same kind of broken English, same kinds of accusations on talk pages. This is actually a complete WP:DUCK, and I have blocked on the basis of the behavioural evidence, but I would be grateful for a checkuser to look for sleepers, in view of the past history of this user's sockpuppets. Regarding Explens: suspected per WP:DUCK; same kind of broken English, same kinds of accusations on talk pages (compare Talk:Cham_Albanians#Minorities with Talk:Music_of_Greece#consensus). Regarding Beautinesse: no sound evidence yet but based on weak behavioral evidence I would like to ask for a check. --Omnipaedista (talk) 15:37, 12 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Also added User:Balkanstyle per WP:DUCK. --Omnipaedista (talk) 12:08, 13 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
No sound evidence about Balkanstyle yet but his edits should be checked. They seem to be disruptive and even if he is not a sock of Plouton2, he is definitely not a brand new editor. I added Zerothinker and I would like to ask for a check on this account (confer this comment). --Omnipaedista (talk) 14:06, 13 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Some evidence regarding Balkanstyle: removing "non-notables" ([1] & [2]) and adding extraordinary/unreferenced claims about the undoubted Greek descent of Turkish music make Balkanstyle's case fit some pattern; see also his controversial requested moves and confer Karbont's similar requested moves (Balkanstyle was there when needed). Regarding Textenwikisearcher: just check his amusing rant on my talk-page. --Omnipaedista (talk) 19:43, 13 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

recent posts at Talk:Čoček‎ and Talk:Köçek‎ are similar in message style and signature style to earlier posts on the same 2 pages by users Karbont and Balkanstyle, both apparently sockpuppet accounts. I apologise if this notification is inappropriate or poorly formulated. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 19:32, 16 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Suspected sockpuppets

I suspect these accounts to be socks of Plouton2 because they all seem to engage in similar behavior as sock accounts from that SPI, editing particular articles of certain cultures/ethnicities (Arabic/Middle Eastern/Turkish) by removing sourced content that involves these culture's native origins and inserting unsourced Greek or Byzantine origins. As well as removing any connection of these cultures in Greek articles. They revert to edits of other accounts listed here, as well as to the past blocked accounts of Plouton2. The articles include: Middle Eastern music, Arabic music, Music of Greece, Belly dance, Tsifteteli, Chalga, Ottoman classical music, Arabesque, Lute, Oud. Some examples are: 178.128.44.232 reverted edits on the Oud article back to blocked socks of Plouton2 here [3] & Koyrda66 reverted to their edits two times on September 17 2012, and one more time on the 20th. 178.128.44.232 also made same adulterated content reverts to past socks on the Arabic Music page, and once again Koyrda66 reverted to their edits after, as well as 85.72.47.192 here [4]. Koyrda66 also reverted edits to accounts, 178.128.66.7, 60.226.32.200, & PirroAxis edits on the Belly dance article [5], all of which made up Ancient Greek origins, and used a fiction/fantasy novel of poems as a source but named it Belly Dance in Ancient Greece & called it a reliable source. All of these accounts reverted to PirroAxis initial edit of this. PirroAxis also has made edits on the Music of Greece page linking belly dance there, similar to the edits by past blocked socks on the Tsifteteli article. 79.166.157.19 & Irigoni14 both reverted those edits here [6] & here [7]. Tzinipa had adulterated content here [8] & [9] as well as adulterated content here, [10] & 212.251.116.20 made a similar recent edit here [11]. 212.251.116.91 edited same article, and also is the same user who kept reverting any ties to the culture in the Music of Greece article - Please see latest revision history page [12]. User 178.128.44.232 had reverted edits on Music of Greece article here [13] and then users 109.242.96.189 & 130.43.47.88 reverted back to that edit in the same day September 17 2012. User 212.251.116.20 also reverted edits to past sock edits & removed a reliable source edit relating to Mesopotamia here [14] & then 109.242.114.0 reverted to the same edit shortly afterwards. KDaxs, 178.128.66.7, 79.130.82.10 all made same Greek claims as here [15] & [16] & [17]. These users also have been making similar edits on the other articles I've mentioned. 79.130.82.10 made similar behavior edit here [18]. Some of these accounts also edit articles related to Roma and Romani music / people. And Fleris user makes similar edits in Greek / Roma related articles, example [19] & [20]. I know this is a long list but there are a lot of articles targeted by these suspected sock accounts. ProfessionalScholar (talk) 01:33, 24 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Clerk declined 60.226.32.200 is on the wrong side of the planet, literally. The master is too stale for CU, although CU could compare the suspected socks. Half the socks are also stale, so not sure what the point would be anyway. The problem here is a lack of interconnectivity [21]. Half the IPs haven't edited this year, and looking at the rest of the IPs, there is no overlap between them, so it very well be the same editor on all IPs, but their IP address keeps changing, a feature of dynamic addresses. Even if I were 100% confident, any block would be meaningless for the IPs within a day. WP:RFPP is a better solution if there is a blp, vandalism or WP:DE issue for them. Closing without action as there may be some connections between accounts, but can't see abuse between the various socks, and can't definitively link to the master. Suspected sockpuppets

(i) Fleris's defending of HailEpov's disruptive edits seems to establish a connection between them (Fleris is always there when needed). Confer the similar pattern here (then Aperitis25, Basstonic, and Esterrio attempted to namufacture consent, but eventually all those editors proved to be Plouton2 socks).
(ii) Koyrda66's and FromGr's edits feature POV-pushing adulteration of citations in articles related to Greek instruments: [22], [23]; such editing behavior is reminiscent of Plouton2's tactics.
(iii) Tromakton is reinserting POV-pushing material originally inserted by CanarianIsland, a user that was blocked by Future Perfect at Sunrise as an obvious sock of BouzoukiGr/Plouton2. --Omnipaedista (talk) 07:06, 6 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Μuch paradoxical. Ask of this check by blocked or mind-unsettled(?)-not personal attack- users who also omits phrases and sources in how they want. Some examples 1, 2, 3 and the best of all the accuse of another as a person with irredentist interests. Like professionalScholar, a user, with four named accounts, confirmed of his "sock invasion", plus a loud conflict with other users, with an obvious nationalist irredentism and articles that has been vandalised over and over again by sock-accounts like User:ChiefWikiEditing - User:Persianbeauty - User:AncientCivilizations. --Fleris (talk) 21:17, 6 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • I have blocked all except Fleris as I don't see enough overlap in behavoir to indicate that he would be a sock of Plouton2. -- DQ (ʞlɐʇ) 20:25, 7 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
