Stop icon

When adding links to material on external sites, as you did to Natashia Williams, please ensure that the external site is not violating the creator's copyright. Linking to websites that display copyrighted works is acceptable as long as the website's operator has created or licensed the work. Knowingly directing others to a site that violates copyright may be considered contributory infringement. This is particularly relevant when linking to sites such as YouTube or Sci-Hub, where due care should be taken to avoid linking to material that violates its creator's copyright. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you believe the linked site is not violating copyright with respect to the material, then you should do one of the following:

  • If the linked site is the copyright holder, leave a message explaining the details on the article Talk page;
  • If a note on the linked site credibly claims permission to host the material, or a note on the copyright holder's site grants such permission, leave a note on the article Talk page with a link to where we can find that note;
  • If you are the copyright holder or the external site administrator, adjust the linked site to indicate permission as above and leave a note on the article Talk page;

If the material is available on a different site that satisfies one of the above conditions, link to that site instead. 10mmsocket (talk) 10:41, 11 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi Happy2Be100! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Natashia Williams that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. Hi there; yes I’m trying to resolve some issues on the page as prescribed in the heading (Information lacking citation/proper sources) This is an attempt to ‘clean up’ my page. I will attempt to edit again unless someone else is in position to address the page source issues. Thank you for your help. Happy2Be100 (talk) 19:51, 19 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Is there anyone who can help further with cleaning/re-writing the page as suggested in the header? I’m not confident in doing this, especially the suggestion of the citations needing reformatting? Thank you Happy2Be100 (talk) 20:55, 19 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Why did you revert the edits which expanded the bare urls in the page? Egeymi (talk) 04:36, 20 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi there & thanks for responding. If something looks odd it’s likely I did it by mistake or accidentally. I’m looking for help with this now. At present, I’m trying to clean up the page per the suggestions in the header. If you can offer assistance or know how to do this I would appreciate it, Thank You Happy2Be100 (talk) 04:48, 20 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I’m not sure what that means ‘bare URLS’. I would like to perform whatever revision is necessary to clear the flags listed above the content of the page. Happy2Be100 (talk) 04:50, 20 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Please read Wikipedia:Bare URLs. Edwardx (talk) 11:45, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Happy2Be100. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Natashia Williams, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Edwardx (talk) 11:39, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello,
Thank you for responding. So if the topic is about myself and both of the pictures are from my camp (including the original Blue top and curly hair- taken by husband Brevin Blach) can we just take them all down and another, unrelated contributor uploads one ? Or do I just need to disclose on the talk page that I’m a ‘Connected Contributor’ in order to safely upload and use it? I appreciate the information links you provided, but alot of subtopics were covered and convoluted. I couldn’t tell what was specific direction for this case. I don’t know if the problem is just the picture or the ‘promotion’ of the show I was filmed on in the picture? Is it possible to clarify just a bit more here? I appreciate your help!

Also. I attempted to remove some incurable and unsubstantiated information in the article (impossible to offer citation where indicated) Why was this action reverted?
Happy2Be100 (talk) 13:21, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You need to make a COI declaration on your userpage, and suggest edits on the article talkpage. Edwardx (talk) 13:30, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ok thanks- that helps a bit more! Along with the COI declaration, may I then also give permission to whomever is able, to change the pics along with any other issues with the article? May they use my previous edits following this action? For instance : if I write verbatim: “This is Natashia Williams (Blach) trying to request a newer profile picture be used for this article. Also if anyone can clean up the non-cited material along with any writing style issues, would be much appreciated. “
Would that count as a sufficient disclosure and request? Would you yourself be privy to the request and able to help directly or would that have to go to any other viable contributor? Thanks 🙏
