Hi there. I'm the author of the draft draft:Michael Briguglio. I added even more references. I really really think that you are making my life difficult with your declined reviews. I really really think that the draft is very similar to other approved biographies that have been approved not declined. Please note my strong opposition to your declinement. Article on the Austrian Private Universities Conference

Hello DoubleGrazing,

the article on the Austrian Private Universities Conference has already been supplemented with well-founded, independent sources. Hopefully, the article will meet Wikipedia's relevance criteria and quality standards.

Request on 13:22:13, 30 June 2023 for assistance on AfC submission by Abialic

Submission of the above-listed draft was recently declined. Please I need some assistance in perfecting the work to make it suitable for submission. Thank you.

Abialic (talk) 13:22, 30 June 2023 (UTC)

Hi @Abialic: did you read any of the decline notices and accompanying comments? Schools must demonstrate notability by meeting the WP:GNG standard, which requires significant coverage in multiple independent and reliable secondary sources. This draft currently cites no such sources.
You must also ensure that the contents area properly supported by referencing. As a bare minimum, each paragraph should have at least one citation to indicate which source has provided that information. Currently there are multiple paragraphs without a single citation.
I have also posted a message on your user talk page asking you to disclose whatever relationship you may have with this subject. Please do so now. Thank you. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 13:34, 30 June 2023 (UTC)

Thanks so much for reviewing the draft. I've made the changes for tone like you mentioned. For sources, I've includes secondary, in-depth review of the panel that are written by industry experts using the panel/ or teaching how to use the panel.

A little help if possible

Hi - I am not sure which piece of the article is taken from 'IMDB' directly. My page has been denied, and I am wondering what I need to do to edit it to have it approved?

Draft:Little Bone Lodge BTFilmsLTD (talk) 07:37, 4 July 2023 (UTC)

Hi @BTFilmsLTD:
The 'Plot' section was a verbatim match with content on IMDb. I have now deleted it, and it will be removed from the edit history shortly. You need to rewrite the plot in your own words (which means, in different words from the IMDb or any other source under copyright, even if those sources were also written by you).
Beyond that, you will need to be able to show that this film is notable, either by the general WP:GNG notability standard, or the special WP:NFILM one. I didn't analyse the sources in detail, since the draft failed a copyvio check anyway, but a quick glance suggests the sources might not be sufficient to satisfy GNG, and I'm doubtful a new film like this will meet NFILM either. But perhaps you can find sources to prove otherwise.
Last but not least, you should also respond to the conflict-of-interest (COI) query I posted on your talk page. Thanks, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 08:07, 4 July 2023 (UTC)
I believe those changes have been made now, but I may require some additional advice if you need more amends? AdamDavidCarr (talk) 09:27, 4 July 2023 (UTC)
@AdamDavidCarr: okay, noted.
IMPORTANT: I've posted messages on both your and BTFilmsLTD's talk pages about
  1. Conflicts of interest
  2. Using multiple accounts
You must read and action these ASAP, before you get into trouble. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 09:30, 4 July 2023 (UTC)

Hi - Please could you take another look at this draft. I have expanded it and considerably improved the references. The original editor (User:Bebington) seems to have abandoned it / given up. It would be a pity to lose the article as the takeover was a big noise at the time (with a lot of media publicity). As I have now explained in the article even The Wall Street Journal said, that with this deal, "Mergermania Has Hit European Companies". Thanks. Dormskirk (talk) 18:28, 6 July 2023 (UTC)

Following extensive improvements, I have now moved the article on main space. Please let me know if you still have any concerns. Thanks. Dormskirk (talk) 08:07, 7 July 2023 (UTC)

Draft:Ralph_Spencer_Steenblik

Hello DoubleGrazing,

I am interested in fixing the article Draft:Ralph Spencer Steenblik since I have not spent a lot of time on Wikipedia I am not sure exactly how to establish notability. I think the the article could be considered under several categories of notability as you suggest. Is it simply through stating how the notability has been reached?

Thank you very much! Steenblikrs (talk) 13:38, 14 July 2023 (UTC)

Hi @Steenblikrs:
Firstly, judging by your username I assume this draft is about you? In which case, please read WP:AUTOBIO for the various reasons why writing about yourself is not a good idea.
Secondly, again based on your username, you almost certainly have a conflict of interest (COI) with regards to this subject, and must formally disclose it before any further editing. See WP:COI.
As for notability, this is almost always established by citing multiple sources that meet the WP:GNG standard, namely being reliable secondary sources, wholly independent of the subject, with significant coverage (ie. not just passing mentions) of the subject directly. It is important to realise that notability in the Wikipedia context has nothing to do with whether the subject is 'famous' or 'important' or anything of that ilk; only whether it has been covered in sources that satisfy the GNG standard. If you can find such sources, start by summarising what they have said about this person, and leave out everything else, at least for the time being. Regarding the Reported Article on Darrell Mbow

Hello DoubleGrazing,

I noticed that you reported the article on Darrell Mbow for potential speedy deletion on Wikipedia. I would like to get in touch with you to discuss the concerns you have with the article and understand what specific changes are needed to meet Wikipedia's guidelines.

I am the author of the article and would appreciate any feedback you can provide to improve its quality and ensure it meets the necessary criteria for inclusion. Please let me know what aspects of the article you find promotional, and I will make the necessary revisions accordingly.

Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to your response. Narjesmosrati (talk) 18:51, 16 July 2023 (UTC)

Rejection of Article

Hi,

May I kindly ask you for further explanation on why my article got rejected?

Many thanks! Gvatimes (talk) 13:14, 17 July 2023 (UTC)

@Gvatimes: I didn't reject it, I merely declined it. The reason being, there is no evidence that the subject is notable. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 13:20, 17 July 2023 (UTC)
Thank you for your quick response.
Should more references be added to make it a notable subject? Gvatimes (talk) 13:26, 17 July 2023 (UTC)
@Gvatimes: you need to add better sources, rather than more – a few really solid ones may be enough to establish notability, whereas even a large number of flaky ones won't.
You also need to respond to the COI / paid editing queries posted on your own talk page. Please do so as your next edit. Thank you. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 14:57, 17 July 2023 (UTC)
It's all duly noted. thank you Gvatimes (talk) 15:00, 17 July 2023 (UTC)

Notability

Hi, May I kindly note that there isn't sufficient data management or media coverage on Nigerian education, especially regarding the school that has been declined (So could I get away with less sources e.g 6-7 vs the usual 10-20). I have also taken note of the ambiguity of some of my sources and deleted those out, as well as any copyvios. Please may I receive some additional clarity on what I need to do to get this primary school article approved.

Your'e working really hard, have a good day ! Wikicorrections26 (talk) 21:10, 17 July 2023 (UTC)

Draft rejection

Hi

Author of the “Iranian Freikorps” here. The references to the last section had already existed in the prior. I suggest reading the references through the indicated pages, and I’m sure you’ll find the citations you’re looking for.

I am certain that a cia document does count as a reliable source. Hence, I would like to request for the article to be approved. Thousands of articles in wikipedia lack any reliable information as a reference, hence why wikipedia is known for what it is.

However, I’ve made sure that the article follows all the professional rules of research, and would appreciate if it’s approved as I believe it would help a lot of people have a more enlightened view about this period in history, which has only recently been manifested through the works of Timothy Doner and more of the like.

Thanks in advance, Sincerely, 188.113.120.71 (talk) 23:02, 17 July 2023 (UTC)

Women in Red 8th Anniversary

Women in Red 8th Anniversary
In July 2015 around 15.5% of the English Wikipedia's biographies were about women. As of July 2023, 19.61% of the English Wikipedia's biographies are about women. That's a lot of biographies created in the effort to close the gender gap. Happy 8th Anniversary! Join us for some virtual cake and add comments or memories and please keep on editing to close the gap!

Dan Snyder (artist)

Hi DoubleGrazing

On July 17, following your clear and helpful instructions on how to proceed with my edit for my declined draft, I was able to complete a full page edit using visual editor. I pressed the publish button and received this error message:

Something went wrong

⧼No stashed content found for 1140753667/e08e44c8-1f5a-11ee-8c71-b04f13be4f10⧽

I went back to the help forum and asked how I should proceed. A member interfaced with me in source and now I have lost my edit and no longer have access to the visual editor to redo it. Can I undo what has happened by "undoing" that persons edit (which I can not decipher) or is there another way to get my visual editor back?

Thank you Jjcoste2 (talk) 18:15, 19 July 2023 (UTC)

Hi @Jjcoste2: I'm sorry, I don't know what that error message means, or what may have happened there. I also don't use the visual editor myself, so can't really advise on that. Your best bet for getting help of more technical nature is probably at WP:VPT. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 04:57, 20 July 2023 (UTC)
Hi and thanks. I edited it in source and it appears to have publish. So perhaps I can now proceed with the process. Jjcoste2 (talk) 14:11, 20 July 2023 (UTC)

HI, Thank you for your review of the above. I have tried to take on board your comments and recommendations and have edited the article accordingly. Prior to re-submitting I wonder if you would be kind enough to have a look and see if I have understood and followed those recommendations. I would also be grateful for any specific feedback that you may have that would ease the re-submission process. Many Thanks TomBowcock Tombowcock (talk) 01:26, 20 July 2023 (UTC)

Dear DoubleGrazing, pls help me with undestanding my publication. From you side it´s article absolutly unsuitable or I can modifeded and back to you? My main sourcec about company - my boss and his father. How I can provide realible this? KirillTech (talk) 10:47, 20 July 2023 (UTC)

@KirillTech: you need to be able to demonstrate that the company is notable, which (per WP:GNG) requires significant coverage of them, in multiple secondary sources that are reliable and independent of the the company.
You also need to disclose any relationship you have with this company. I've posted a message on your own talk page with instructions. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 10:55, 20 July 2023 (UTC)
