Paleodictyon Nodosum[edit]

  • ... that Paleodictyon nodosum (reconstruction of pattern pictured) made use of a new source of energy not dependent on the Sun?

This hook looks a bit weird and I cannot find it in the article. How about
alt1 ... that Paleodictyon nodosum (reconstruction of pattern pictured) made use of a new source of energy not dependent on the Sun?
Also article length and newness and referencing are OK. Hooks should be short enough, but I will leave another reviewer to see if they like the alternative hook. PS I have renamed to lowercase nodosum. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 10:08, 29 November 2011 (UTC)
I believe the original hook is supported by this quote in the article: It was once assumed that the only source of energy that supported life was the sun. However the discovery of chemosynthetic bacteria in Giant Tube Worms introduced a new source of energy. --★ Pikks ★ MsG 09:14, 30 November 2011 (UTC)
But it sounds to me as if the original hook is suggesting that there is life on the surface of the sun. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 11:31, 30 November 2011 (UTC)
Oh, you are right. I got it. I agree with your proposal - dyk text changed. Ready to go.--★ Pikks ★ MsG 11:48, 30 November 2011 (UTC)
