- Yeah I chose to avoid the Southeast Asia angle as it seems like a pretty general area rather than a definitive thing like the nationality and readers were probably more likely to know Filipino more than what Southeast Asia consists of. Thoughts? Kosack (talk) 13:03, 30 October 2018 (UTC)
- Southeast Asia is a well-defined area though. How about something like "that British-Filipino footballer..." or "Etheridge is the first Filipino and the first Southeast Asian..." or wording to that effect? Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 13:09, 30 October 2018 (UTC)
Thanks. Here's the full review: it was promoted to GA status on time, the article is of an appropriate length, and is adequately sourced. I was unable to find any copyright violations or close paraphrasing. The hook is verified, cited inline, and is interesting. A QPQ has been provided. Good to go.
