22,000: The article and infobox currently list the circulation of the paper as 22,000 in 1970, but no source for that info.

23,000: The New Georgia Encyclopedia (note: tertiary source not appropriate for citing in Wikipedia) says "By the summer of 1970 the Great Speckled Bird had become the largest paid weekly newspaper in Georgia, with a circulation of 23,000 copies."
