It's not a "black sun nazi tattoo" but a kolovrat, a symbol of Slavic paganism which symbolizes the sun, the fire, the renewal, the rebirth, and that in in some areas it's still possible to find in folk handicrafts; as all Sergei Polunin's tattoos, it has no connection with any group / political faction, as he repeatedly stated.

The Kolovrat is used by a number of eastern european neo-nazi groups and is usually called the slavic swastica. Mistake?[edit]

I'm not a native English Speaker, but I'm quite sure that in the line "He was first shown in the international spotlight in the role of Slavemaster/Sheppard in the 25th Anniversary The Phantom of the Opera at the Royal Albert Hall." of the "Life and Career" section of this article there's a mistake with the word Sheppard. "Sergei" is also the name he is credited with in all the film productions he attended. On the web you can easily find also photos of him autographs, where he signs "Sergei". ~~Oppose~~ move to Sergei Polunin, but would Support move to Serhiy Polunin since the article's lead sentence clearly identifies subject as Ukrainian, not Russian. Russian language has no letter "H/h" and Ukrainian language has no letter "G/g". The same letter, "Г/г" is pronounced as "G/g" in Russian and as "H/h" in Ukrainian. The Russian form of this given name is transliterated into the English forms "Sergei" or "Sergey", while the Ukrainian form is transliterated as "Serhiy" (not "Sergii", as the main header currently indicates, or "Sergiy", which is another Russian-style transliteration of the Ukrainian form). There are multiple properly-transliterated Wikipedia entries for Ukrainian subjects — Serhiy Kryvtsov, Serhiy Kurchenko, Serhiy Lishchuk, Serhiy Rebrov, Serhiy Tymofiyovych Shevchenko, Serhiy Vasylyovych Shevchenko, Serhiy Yakovych Shevchenko, Serhiy Tihipko, Serhiy Turyanskyi, Serhiy Zhadan — to name 10, among many others.

I'm sorry, but since Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and not a translation manual, don't you think the priority would be to give the correct information that is the name with which he is internationally known? Also, note that a part of the Ukrainian population speaks Russian. If this is not enough, he is an artist, so the name in Latin characters he chooses can be considered as a stage name: why does a dancer have to be treated differently from an actor, a lyrical singer or a painter? In any case, the current name is wrong both from a grammatical point of view, from an informational point of view, and from the point of view of the sources: why cannot we simply cancel an erroneous edit?
