– Joe Joyce (footballer) used to have the main Joe Joyce page but the boxer is now clearly more notable, however I can't move him because a redirect obviously now exists at the original page. MaineCrab (talk) 01:09, 20 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Support 1st move, Weak oppose 2nd move - Primary topic swaps aren't easy to implement, and often leads to users ending up at the wrong page. For now, I'd say there's no clear primary topic, so a disambiguation page should be at the basename. Paintspot Infez (talk) 12:11, 20 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Support first move, weak support second move. There's an element of recentism with the second, but the boxer's career already seems to have eclipsed both the footballer and rugby player and it's easily the most viewed of the three articles. I proposed the move so maybe I don't count but support first move and support second move. I don't think it's recentism to suppose that an Olympic medallist who is frequently covered on television and in the press is the default person to hold his name.
