No consensus. There is no consensus with respect to the correct title for this page, so the title reverts back to the last version before the contested move, which is Jenifer Haselgrove. The page will be move-protected. BD2412 T 14:37, 29 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Jenifer Wheildon BrownJenifer Haselgrove – Return to Jenifer Haselgrove. While she was born Jenifer Wheildon Brown, she is best known as Haselgrove and indeed her most notable work is known as Haselgrove's equations. The birth name now it has come to light should be included but per WP:Commonname the article title should be that by which she is mostly widely recognised. Jenifer Haselgrove or Jenifer Leach, either is acceptable but not Jenifer Haselgrove Leech as she does not appear to have ever gone by this name. My preference is Haselgrove as her most famous work was published under that name and is referred to as Haselgrove's equations. It is also the name used in the tributes to her in the Radio Space Bulletin (see below) and was the article name since 2007 when it was moved from Jenifer Leech (Haselgrove). The library article you have linked to is titled "Haselgrove-Leech Collection" and the scope section says "Jenifer Leech (formerly Haselgrove, née Wheildon Brown)". The family tree you linked to has a link to the "Radio Science Bulletin" for June 2008 [1]; at page 14 is a long article called "Introduction to Special Sections Honouring Jennifer Haselgrove". I'm not sure why you are saying Wheildon Brown is neutral, the article naming policy isn't about neutrality, it's about making article names appropriate and easy for readers to find and WP:Commonname makes it very clear that we should use "the name that is most commonly used (as determined by its prevalence in a significant majority of independent, reliable English-language sources)" - see also WP:MAIDEN - which most patently is not Jennifer Wheildon Brown. This article content should reflect her birth name and other surnames but the title needs to be that which best meets the naming policy. Nthep (talk) 12:54, 29 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The library article says "Brown Jenifer Wheildon b.1930 computer scientist x Jenifer Leech, x Jenifer Haselgrove" --Sharouser (talk) 12:58, 29 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Acknowledged it uses Wheildon Brown once, but it uses Haselgrove and Leech multiple times each. Would you like to present an argument based on Wikipedia policy on why the name she is least recognised by should be used for the article title? Nthep (talk) 13:08, 29 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment I note this discussion has been relisted - if the outcome is non consensus then the article should be returned to Jenifer Haselgrove as there was no consenus to move from that title in the first place. The article was moved without explanation by Sharouser, returned by me and removed by Sharouser. This discussion was started by me to avoid getting into a move war when Sharouser should have started it when their original move was reverted. Nthep (talk) 19:48, 6 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
