Zone D?[edit]

Was at the airport last night and there seems to be a Zone D which was only being used by the flights to African destinations. Should this be added to the page? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.212.5.163 (talk) 12:14, 16 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Terminals[edit]

This airport has two passenger terminals, not one —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.239.139.24 (talkcontribs)

You are encouraged to edit the article and organize the airlines into two terminals. -- SmthManly / ManlyTalk / ManlyContribs 11:09, 26 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The airport does not have two terminals. There are now four check-in areas and four zones in departures but they all operate as one terminal (September 2014) Blueplatinum (talk) 22:50, 27 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Gran Canaria Airport[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Gran Canaria Airport's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "stats":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 18:02, 15 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Gran Canaria is the second island that gathers the largest number of passengers in the Canary Islands[edit]

Although Gran Canaria Airport is the one with the largest number of passengers in the Canary Islands, it must also be borne in mind that this is because it is the only airport on the island. By destination island, Gran Canaria is the second island that gathers the largest number of passengers in the Canary Islands, after Tenerife with its two airports. Even the official website of the Gran Canaria Airport says it: Es el aeropuerto más concurrido en número de pasajeros y de cargo de las Islas Canarias, aunque los aeropuertos de Tenerife registran un mayor número de pasajeros entre los dos (It is the busiest airport in number of passengers and cargo in the Canary Islands, although the airports of Tenerife register a greater number of passengers between the two): Gran Canaria Airport. Here we are not talking about the islands, bu about the ariport. in this case, Gran Canaria airport.

It is one more piece of information, because the island is also spoken of as a tourist destination. It also says it to the official website of the airport, for what is important.--87.223.192.182 (talk) 12:05, 20 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Here we are talking about the airport, not about the island as a destiny. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.145.186.107 (talk) 18:52, 26 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It is a data related to the airport. It even appears on the official airport website, so it is important enough to be reflected in this article. Wikipedia should be neutral and as didactic as possible to provide reliable and non-misleading information.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.223.145.226 (talk) 08:57, 1 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
