Did You Know
A fact from this article appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the "Did you know?" column on June 6, 2010.
The text of the entry was: Did you know ... that U-64 was sunk on the eighth day of her first patrol?

Type of aircraft[edit]

The article says that U-64 was bombed by a Fairey Swordfish, whereas the Georg-Wilhelm Schulz article says that it was a Supermarine Walrus. My recollection is that the Warspite carried a Walrus (I made a model of it more years ago than I care to remember), confirmed by the Walrus article, so is there any source to support the Swordfish version? There is a source. Try here--White Shadows you're breaking up 20:30, 2 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, looks the most likely and I've turned up quite a few other supporting refs myself; I'll update the other article accordingly. Cheers, Mikenorton (talk) 21:08, 2 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
