Clarify, please[edit]

He employed W. A. Rogers and G. M. Bond in 1879 to develop the Rogers-Bond comparator, credited with rescuing mechanical science and industry from inconvenience.

Ancestry[edit]

Is not descended from Eli Whitney that I have been able to find. If documentation can't be found to show how, this should be edited out. Rgurganus (talk) 04:17, 10 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
