Blood type[edit]

Why do these articles include blood type? I know the cultural meaning in Japan, but it's not suitable to just put information based on superstition. It would be like putting in someone's astrological profile just because they're American or in a country where astrology is popular. Nathan J. Yoder 05:39, 7 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. Gene Nygaard 05:26, 15 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Page move[edit]

Don't be moving pages like this without discussion and without references.

And especially don't be messing up the sort keys for the categories, which would still have been the correct ones even if moved. See Wikipedia:Categorization of people#Ordering names in a category. Gene Nygaard 05:26, 15 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ageha OkawaAgeha Ohkawa — I messed up the name which has a h in the family name in the text when rverting an undiscussed, unreferenced attempt to move it, which was accompanied by a change to make it missort in categories as well. —Gene Nygaard 13:28, 15 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Okay. Thanks for fixing my typo. That shouldn't be determinative as to whether or not it should have a macron, so if somebody else wants to discuss it that, then you could go to WP:RM. Gene Nygaard 14:24, 15 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Since Ohkawa has officially changed her pen name back to Nanase Ohkawa, should the article be moved to reflect that? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.84.5.55 (talk) 02:38, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Do you have a source for this information? As far as I know, she hasn't change it back. But if she did change it back, the article has to be moved (not copy-pasted).--Nohansen (talk) 16:04, 20 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
According to her profile (http://www.clamp-net.com/html/contents/profile/) as of this comment, Ohkawa is currently using the pen name 大川七瀬 (Ohkawa Nanase). This blogger (http://chibiyuuto.livejournal.com/177147.html) makes a note of this back when Ohkawa originally changed her name from "Ageha" to "Nanase" again. 24.84.218.226 (talk) 22:06, 27 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Requesting move: Ageha Ohkawa to Nanase Ohkawa[edit]

In the previous section, the user noted that Ohkawa has returned to using "Nanase Ohkawa" from "Ageha Ohkawa".

Since this is the name that Ohkawa is currently and has previously used, I think that the article should be renamed to Nanase Ohkawa to reflect this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by EikaKou (talkcontribs) 01:28, 26 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Seeing as there is no response to this discussion, I am going to move Ageha Ohkawa to Nanase Ohkawa. If there is opposition, it can be discussed on this page. A22 (talk) 00:37, 15 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ageha OhkawaNanase Ohkawa — The discussion above provides references that confirm that Ageha Ohkawa is currently using the pen name Nanase Ohkawa again. However, the page cannot be renamed to Nanase Ohkawa since the page already exists and currently redirects to Ageha Ohkawa. A22 (talk) 04:27, 15 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The references really need to be used in the article. Coudl you guys please copy edit the article body to conform with WP:LEAD and to use at least some inline reliable references?
Unless and until there are verifiable and reliable, third party references, my opinion on this is going to remain Oppose. That she prefers a different convention can and should be used in the article body, but unless it can be established that (for example) magazines or other media have changed, then Wikipedia shouldn't change (See WP:OR).
