Bad rename[edit]

It's a shame the renaming of this category didn't get input from more editors. It is both grammatically incorrect and painfully awkward. Inserting a hyphen between "novel" and "winning" would make it more correct, but what you wanted to name this was something like:

  • Hugo Award winner: best novel
  • Hugo Award winner for best novel
  • Hugo Award winner, best novel

Give things like this more thought, use a style guide (preferably not the New York Times'), and people will take Wikipedia more seriously. Eric talk 15:51, 19 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
