Wiki Page Review[edit]

Hello,

I have recently submitted draft of GEM Enviro Management Organisation which is available on the https://wiki.alquds.edu/?query=User:Atindra15/sandbox/GEM_Enviro_Management this link. please go through the entire article and suggest me improvements if required.. Thank You. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Atindra15 (talkcontribs) 09:32, 16 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Your draft doesn't have reliable sources; first one looks like a company profile and others are press releases. You need to find reliable and independent sources such as news articles and reputable magazines. If you can't find any reliable sources, you can't prove that the subject is notable. As that draft is already reviewed by another editor, you probably know that your draft has neutrality issues. Remember, Wikipedia article should be a summary of what reliable sources say about the subject, so please don't add original research to the article. Move from South West Africa to South-West Africa[edit]

I have opened a discussion about this move at Talk:South West Africa on 14 December and pinged you for attention as the move closer. I intend to open a move review to have this move reverted. -- André Kritzinger (talk) 11:34, 19 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't get any ping from you. {{ping}} will not work if you don't sign in the same edit. Fuortu (talk) 14:05, 19 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Must be because I used @Fuortu, not {{ping}}, I suppose. Is it OK by you if I continue with a move review, or do you wish to comment first? -- André Kritzinger (talk) 15:04, 19 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I think you made good points in that discussion. I don't have any opinion on that issue. There was clear consensus for the move but I think more discussion might be required. Since there is nothing wrong with the close, you should start a new RM discussion instead of move review. Fuortu (talk) 16:53, 19 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
According to WP:NOTRM, it seems new RM discussions could be considered contesting a move request close and the Wikipedia:Move review process should rather be followed. Personally, since this hyphen thing has come up at least twice in the past, at Heading and at Requested move, and will probably surface again and end up as a move-war, I'd prefer to go the review route and get the issue settled once and for all. - André Kritzinger (talk) 17:43, 19 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

TobyMac[edit]

Thank you for creating Kevin Michael McKeehan! Could you also create Kevin McKeehan? I didn't think to ask for it before. 208.95.51.72 (talk) 21:56, 29 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Request on 22:11:22, 30 December 2016 for assistance on AfC submission by Brian mansfield[edit]

Fuortu: Thanks for reviewing my submission and for your suggestions about additional references.

Obviously, I consider an entry on Ryman to be worth including in Wikipedia. According to contemporary accounts, he was one of the key figures in the riverboat trade on the Cumberland River during the 19th and early 20th century. He's also one of the most famous Nashvillians of his era, largely thanks to the historic auditorium that bears his name, now the sixth-busiest venue of its size in the United States and a top Nashville tourist destination.

I'd be happy to add whatever information and referencing you need to see to bring this entry up to Wikipedia's standards. This is my first attempt at creating an entry from scratch, so I'm still trying to learn just how much sourcing Wikipedia's editors require. The three sources I cited — two contemporary accounts from the most prominent Nashville newspaper of the day, as well as one from its current descendant — contain the significant details of his story, but his name and that of his business appeared almost daily in the newspapers of his day. He's referenced in several books, usually in connection with the Ryman Auditorium.

If you could give me more specific guidance about what sections of my draft need enhancing and the quantity of additional sources and references you'd need to see, I'll start making edits to bring it up to snuff.

Thanks.

Brian mansfield (talk) 22:11, 30 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft needs more references. You need to find reliable and published sources. Can you add the books which reference him? Name-drops won't help, they need to talk about him in some detail. Apart from that, your draft looks fine. Fuortu (talk) 22:52, 30 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

We reviewed and re-submitted an article on Diane Larsen-Freeman in December last year. Since then we have heard nothing. Is there something else we need to do?
