My presumptions concerning bios on Wikiepdia for Afd. These presumptions in no way affect my compliance with WP policies, they are simply my views and opinions and are reflected in my votes. I start with the presumption that all Biogrpahies of Living Persons should be deleted if listed for Afd, then evaluate the evidence on a case by case basis to establish whether they meet the current standard for inclusion:

I am helping people with bios and promotional articles on wikipedia by helping folks like you scan them and delete those which really don't belong here. Most folks think it's great to have a bio or company writeup on wikipedia until they get a DUI or some bad press and it ends up all over the place. Bio's esspecially need to meet a very high standard to belong on this site. I am happy to help scan through them and get rid of as many of them as possible that don't belong here. The same applies for articles on companies. People are very misguided hiring PR firms to post what are essentially ads, then wikipedia ends up with a pile of dung that looks like Usenet. I enjoy interacting with others and I have found the Afd process to be a lot of fun and I get to review a lot of content and help decide what to do with it. I edit articles on Advanced Physics for the most part with my IP, but for Afd I have an account I use and I keep the two separate so I don't break the policy and stay anonymous. I am 55 years old, have degrees in Applied Physics, Nuclear Physics, and Electrical Engineering. I am disabled and live alone and am bored a lot of the time so I do this. I also want to mention to consider looking at some of the oldest AfDs as some are often low with comments and are at risk of being closed as no consensus (about 7 days and within are normal). I also want to mention you can narrow some AfDs through the deletion sorting you'll find at a nomination (i.e Business, Businesspeople, Actors and filmmakers, authors, bands and musicians, etc.).
