Is there any evidence that Isauricus was gay or is that just someone playing a trick?

I moved Publius Servilius Isauricus to Publius Servilius Vatia Isauricus (consul 79 BCE): this is the correct full name of the person. Servilius was the (plebean) gens, Vatia his cognomen and Isauricus was an agnomen he was given due to his campaign against the Isauri. Consul 79 BCE is added as a way to differentiate with his similarly named son, consul in 48 BCE) -- fdewaele, 21 September 2006, 19:28

Praetor in 84 BC?[edit]

There is at least one problem with this article - Servilius Vatia could not have been Praetor in 84 BC, as he was probably with Sulla at the time, and as a supporter of Sulla, he would not have been favoured by the Marian regime at Rome in any case.
