Bias concerns[edit]

@Nick-D and AustralianRupert: - a concern has been raised that this article is biased. This operation appears to be Australian part of larger Coalition operations. Could you review and advise accordingly. Regards Newm30 (talk) 20:39, 25 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

G'day, I tend to avoid working on articles on recent operations for various reasons. That said, I took a quick look and will offer some comments here (although I do not wish to edit the article). The article does seem to note in the lead that it was part of a wider multi-national coalition operation, although if the wider operation has an article on Wikipedia, I'd suggest linking to that in this article to allow the reader to get some more context. If the size and results of the wider operation are listed in RS, it might also be a good idea to include a sentence or two on this article to make it clearer how Operation Perth fit into the wider operation (and how big or small it was in comparison). Finally, the sourcing probably could be improved. Do you have access to the third edition of Coulthard-Clark's book? That might offer something.
