Even as is, satisfies WP:PROF as editor of a major journal. He is editor in Chief of "SPINE" https://journals.lww.com/spinejournal/pages/default.aspx

Suggested additions, updates, and source information[edit]

Thanks for your guidance as to how best to make suggestions for edits. Please let me know if there is a better way to do so. My suggestions are based on goals on adding sources to some of the content currently on this page, and updating and adding relevant content to keep up with the times.

 Not done This is a primary source, whereas we need secondary sources not affiliated with the events being reported on
  • Would suggest an update to current heading of "Philosophical and/or Political Views" to a more accurate "Contributions to the Study and Practice of Health Care"
 Not done Views is a pretty standard type of heading, if it's about his position and not actual things he has done. However, this section was completely unsourced anyway.
 Not done This is actually a guest blog (written by a Forbes "contributor") and cannot be used. Most anything written by the Forbes staff should be fine though. CorporateM (Talk) 03:49, 25 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

 Not done The instructions for Request Edits are to propose specific edits. You are however welcome/encouraged to leave sources on the Talk page for when/if an editor takes an interest in the page. Alternatively, you can propose specific article-text. In this case however, I noticed that the first source is authored by Weinstein himself and this also cannot be used. Sources have to be independent.

Since it's been in the queue for months and nobody has responded, I went ahead and looked through it. Almost everything in the article needs to be cited to credible, independent sources, such as press articles, scholarly works, journal pages, etc. Although there are some exceptions, most of the article should be cited to credible authors that are not Weinstein himself and have no connection to the events being reported on. It's important to note that the sources should be independent of not only Weinstein, but of the events being added to the article. After reviewing the proposed sources and those in the current article, I'm not sure he actually qualifies for a Wikipedia page. We need some in-depth coverage about his life that is authored by an independent, un-involved party. CorporateM (Talk) 03:57, 25 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
