Radkan (Persian: رادكان, also Romanized as Rādkān and Rādekān; also known as Rādkāh)[3] is a city in, and the capital of, Radkan District of Chenaran County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 census, its population was 2,268 in 624 households, when it was a village in, and the capital of, Radkan Rural District[5] of the Central District.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 3,734 people in 1,004 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,609 people in 784 households.[2]

In August 2019, the rural district was separated from the district in the establishment of Radkan District and Seyyedabad District, each of which was divided into two rural districts.[4] The village of Radkan was elevated to the status of a city.[8]

Radkan city is known for its scenery and historic architecture.
