Versailles in the Paris task force?[edit]

Hi there hello, so I just spontaneously joined the Paris task force and got into tagging "Paris-related" articles, but I wonder whether or not articles that are "Versailles-related" should be tagged and improved as well. I'd be happy if anybody'd give me the answer to that. Update: I'll just tag the "Versailles-related" ones, just tell me if I shouldn't :) - CarolingianCitizen (talk) 10:02, 7 August 2022 (CET)

trying to find info on Jean Louis Charles d'Orléans, Duke of Longueville[edit]

Hey, I’m just trying to find info on this guy and all I’ve got is that he went bonkers mad Micheal Paleologo-Oriundi (talk) 14:14, 12 November 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

The French wp bio. Since he went mad and was confined to monastery at about 18, there's not a lot to say, beyond the usual list of titles etc. Johnbod (talk) 17:10, 12 November 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I made a draft on the guy and thanks for the info! Micheal Paleologo-Oriundi (talk) 17:37, 12 November 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Pieds-noirs[edit]

Hello, is wise to categorize Pieds-Noirs as Algerian people of French descent, French people of Algerian descent, Algerian emigrants to France ? I thought the definition of Pieds-Noirs was French or European citizens with no Algerian descent ? Do we categorize British people born in Egypt or Nigeria as Egyptian or Nigerian people ? WP:FRENCHCAPS[edit]

We're unsure how best to capitalise the French title of an album in an article title. Please can someone provide an informed third opinion at User talk:Minorax#Le Tour de la Question? Thanks, Certes (talk) 12:14, 23 November 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Albert Camus' role at Paris-soir[edit]

At Talk:Albert Camus#Editor-in-chief of Paris-Soir? I asked a question regarding Albert Camus' role at the newspaper Paris-soir. The article currently states that Camus was editor-in-chief of Paris-soir, while I have a source that says he was only layout designer for the paper. I would be grateful if anyone finds a source that could shed light on this matter. Cheers, AxelBoldt (talk) 01:16, 20 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
