In this course we cover fundamental methods and basic theoretical frameworks archaeologists use to reconstruct past cultures. Think critically about how individuals are influenced by political, geographic, economic, cultural and family institutions in their own cultures. We also analyze the diversity and complexity of world's cultures through ecology, technology, architecture, and art throughout time from prehistory until modern times.
Students will be encouraged to participate in the editing of a page related to a topic they are interested in to enhance the quality of information available.
