Introduction[edit]

This quarter's Peru article improvement drive is part of the WikiProject on Peru and is a collaboration to improve Peru-related articles to featured article status.

Nomination and voting

Articles to be improved can be nominated by registered users in the "nominations" section below, with an explanation of what work is needed. Please do not nominate articles involved in edit wars. Each quarter, the article with the most support votes is chosen. Opposing votes are not counted, the nomination is an approval voting. In case of a tie, the candidate that was nominated first wins. You can vote for as many articles as you like. As with any other vote on Wikipedia, sockpuppets are banned.

Current Peru Collaboration Effort
The current collaboration is:
Pedro Pablo Kuczynski 2016 (cropped).jpg

Pedro Pablo Kuczynski, was the President of Peru and the leader of the Peruanos For el Kambio faction. Being a product of the United States in terms of education and work, Kuczynski ran unsuccessfully in 2011 for the presidency, but later vectored in the 2016 general election in Peru over Keiko Fujimori, daughter of the political patriarch of Fujimorism, Alberto Fujimori. Kuczynski's term began in 2016 and ended in March of 2018 with a corruption scandal that involved Brazilian infrastructure company Odebrecht. He promptly resigned and his Vice president Martin Vizcarra would succeeded him to be the President of Peru.

Inca Empire (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)[edit]

Nominated October 9, 2007
Reason
It is a Top-importace article in Wikiproject Peru and also in Wikiproject South America. It lacks many references and sources, and has many sections to improve. Also it can be useful to improve it, because is one of the main topics about Peruvian Prehispanic history. (sorry for my bad english).
