Wikipedia:Votes for Highlight/summary

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Welcome to the Wikipedia Votes for Highlight page. To nominate an article, edit the "All nominated articles" section and place new content on the top.
  • Vote for an article you find excellent.
  • Previous featured articles can be found in the VFH archive.
  • Voters: be constructive with criticism. Writers: Be open to criticism.
  • Articles from all namespaces (including Main, Wikipedia, Category, Book, etc.) are eligible for VFH.
  • If a nomination disappears from this page, it is likely to be found in either the recently featured or recently failed nomination lists.
  • If your article doesn't get featured, don't despair. It may be eligible to be a Good Article so long as it meets certain criteria.

Overview[edit]

VFH is the place to nominate pages for featured or good article status.

The Score is a bad indicator if your article will pass VFH, rather the content in the VFH is what counts. (The score is still looked at to pass or fail the VFH, a VFH won't do well with -5 score but great content)

The feature queue holds passed VFH's for future features.

VFH's on hold will be marked as so. A VFH hold mark looks like this: This VFH is on Hold
