Requesting due to potential need to move pages without redirects as NPP and in my general line of work. I have over 3500 edits and have been on Wikipedia for around 1 year and 6 months. TheBritinator (talk) 01:45, 22 February 2024 (UTC)
Interested in having page mover rights so I can get more involved in the processes where that may be needed. I do not have 3000 edits (only >1000 right now) but I have been editing Wikipedia for at least 4 years and have pretty good familiarity with WP guidelines/rules. I have would like the ability to move pages without leaving behind redirects.
If I am granted mover rights, I would definitely spend some significant time reading through processes to ensure I do not inadvertently misuse the rights (eg: edit warring, etc)12:10, 22 February 2024 (UTC)
As a frequent creator of articles, I often find myself having to request or contact a Page mover in order to move my Draftspace creations to a Mainspace redirect. It gets quite annoying so I want to request this permission mainly to do it on my articles, and potentially later helping out at WP:RM when I'm ready. I have over 3.2K edits. tlak 05:19, 27 February 2024 (UTC)
I'm a long time editor and I've created a fair number of articles, and at times I come across pages that have spelling errors, so I'd like to move them without leaving a redirect. One recent example is Georgina, Lady of Tabley. X (talk) 08:59, 27 February 2024 (UTC)
