Support

  1. Im in support u. Your articles are greatly structured and have great content. You seem to contribute a lot of minor articles and with admin powers u should b able to move onto larger edits.--Eco Nerd 11:34, 24 December 2005 (UTC) (User has 5 edits)[reply]

Oppose

  1. Oppose- sorry, Ari... I'm happy to welcome another Sydneysider, but it is clear from your articles that you are not yet familiar with the Manual of Style here at Wikipedia, which is very important to know when editing articles. Further, you have not made that many contributions or had enough experience in the moderation and discussion side of Wikipedia to be an administrator yet. I'm sure with some time and enough further experience you can try become an administrator. jnothman talk 11:25, 24 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
  2. Oppose. I agree with User:jnothman. You've only made 49 edits to the article space. enochlau (talk) 11:36, 24 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
  3. Oppose There is no nomination statement, the user has few edits, the request was not formatted, the nomination was not accepted... the editor didn't put the requisite thought into this. Come back in six months. Xoloz 12:09, 24 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
  4. Oppose per above. User has little edits and need more experience. Olorin28 12:34, 24 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
  5. Oppose, per above Sceptre (Talk) 13:53, 24 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
  6. Oppose per above, and requesting delisting. --King of All the Franks 16:53, 24 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Neutral

  1. Neutral Could someone delist this nomination please before a major pile on comes. Thanks --Jaranda wat's sup 15:58, 24 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
  2. Forget it, sorry. Do come back once you're more experienced, however. Nightstallion 16:08, 24 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Comments

  • Ari claims] to have edits under an IP(s) as well. Nonetheless, I recommend you withdraw your nomination for now (I think you do this by editing where you accepted the nomination above to say you have withdrawn: the actual de-listing of your nomination should be performed by a bureaucrat to my knowledge). jnothman talk 12:39, 24 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Questions for the candidate
A few generic questions to provide guidance for voters:

1. What sysop chores, if any, would you anticipate helping with? Please check out Category:Wikipedia backlog, and read the page about administrators and the administrators' reading list.
A. I would contribute by performing chores such as checking recent changes and reacting accordingly whether it be reverting to a previous edit to remove vandalism or to just make sure the edits are accurate and in the correct spot. I also visit random articles and add links, correct grammar and spelling errors and expand if I have the knowledge to do so.
2. Of your articles or contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
A. I am really pleased about my contribution to the Circular flow of income article that I majorly contributed to (Around 90% of the article plus diagrams.) I am still currently editing the article to clean it up by adding headings etc. I am also pleased with seeing my contribution to Lake Parramatta, New South Wales article. I am pleased with these because I like seeing my hardwork being available to help other people. I like saving people time because I hate when I don't have enough so by providing a kind of hybrid article people with assignements etc can work on that topic using my contribution as a starting point.
3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
A.When I first made an account and submitted my Circular flow of income article it was nominated as a copyright violation. This was a bad offence to my reputation as a literary person. After defending it as my own work an Administrator by the name of ScottBurley I believe helped resolve the issue. He explained to me why they believed it to be a copyright vio and he advised me on where to go from there. In the future I will take a much more different apporach. I will engage in discussions only and be sure not to breach and terms of use. If I can't get the issue resolved I would hope to call the help of an unbiased third person.
