Not mentioned in the article. ZXCVBNM (TALK) 22:02, 13 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • It was redirected for not meeting GNG and looking at the article and its sourcing I tend to agree. It was then left as a redirect for half a decade without argument. It doesn't seem like a case where it's controversial to delete.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 23:02, 13 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Restore per WP:BLAR and take to AfD if someone disagrees with the restoration. AfD is the proper location to determine whether or not something is notable. -- Tavix (talk) 21:53, 17 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Formerly a redirect to the now deleted Super transformation.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 22:09, 13 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • It looks like Super transformation was originally at this title, then redirected and then deleted at RfD last year. Doesn't this fall under WP:G8? Delete in any case. PC78 (talk) 22:32, 13 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
    • I missed that this was a redirect to a section titled "Super transformation", so on that basis keep as a valid redirect. PC78 (talk) 21:13, 17 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. I can't see that there's currently anything wrong with it, and there's no policy reason to delete. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 16:53, 14 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Pablo Diego Jose Santiago Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno Crispin Crispiniano de los Remedios Cipriano de la Santisima Trinidad Ruiz Blasco y Picasso[edit]

Pablo Picasso's baptismal name was Pablo Diego José Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno María de los Remedios Cipriano de la Santísima Trinidad Ruiz y Picasso, as mentioned in the article. I have not included this name or the version without diacritics in this nom. The rest appear to simply be wrong, adding in names like "Crispín", "Clito", "Santiago", "Patricio", "Blasco", and even "Martyr" (the Spanish word for "martyr" is mártir, so go figure). Given that they are not his name and are obviously not something anyone's going to type into a search box, they should be deleted. — the Man in Question (in question) 18:50, 13 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • There seems to be some confusion in sources as to Picasso's full name, baptismal or otherwise. Britannica has, for example, Pablo Diego José Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno Crispín Crispiniano María Remedios de la Santísima Trinidad Ruiz Picasso, but notes that sources differ in the order of these names. Worldcat has the same name but also Pablo Diego José Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno María de los Remedios Cipriano de la Santísima Trinidad Ruiz y Picasso. I suspect that most of the above versions have been used, for example Pablo Diego Jose Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno Maria de los Remedios Cipriano de la Santisima Trinidad Clito Ruiz y Picasso is used on Commons, Pablo Diego José Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno Crispin Crispiniano de la Santisima Trinidad Ruiz Blasco Picasso is mentioned in 2,000 Amazing Facts.
It seems to me that anyone entering (not I imagine, typing) one of these names, or attempting to link to them, will necessarily be referring to Pablo Picasso, and should, therefore be taken to that page. I don't think any of these redirects are new or harmful, so I conclude:
Keep.

  • Delete there is no need for these redirects since none of them are plausible searches.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 21:33, 13 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep per Rich Farmbrough. These all seem useful. Thryduulf (talk) 07:26, 25 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. Redirects form the incoming interface into an article (distinguishing them from the much larger pool of character combinations which are not part of that interface), therefore all reasonable title variants should exist as redirects. If they are used in some sources, they should be kept. If they are common misnomers, we should add "R from misnomer" instead of deleting them. --Matthiaspaul (talk) 21:14, 29 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
