  • Delete - Not a valid search term; this is basically a CSD candidate article which an editor turned into a redirect instead. GiantSnowman 00:28, 25 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. While it might not look like a valid search term to you, it's getting 200 hits in a typical month - over 500 in February. I've edited the Swanmore, which was giving an internal link, and I suspect that was driving at least some of the traffic. We'll need to wait a few months though to see what effect that has on the redirects traffic. On 1 February, Ms Holden's baby was still born (see the article), and looking at the traffic stats it seems this story broke late on 5 February, so that there was a massive traffic spike on 6 February - see [1] for a classic "wikibump" (see [2] for an explanation). This unusually gives us something significant to analyse, as when we compare the graph for the main article with the one or the redirect [3] we can see they are pretty much the same shape, whereas the graph for the Swanmore article containing the sole incomming link shows no such spike [4]. This shows that of the 183 people who used the "Amanda Holden - Actress" redirect on 6th February, at most 15 of them did not come via the article about the village. This shows the traffic must have come from elsewhere, so it would appear to be a useful incoming link and/or a useful search term, and we need a good reason to delete those. • OR, as people are typing in 'Amanda Holden' into the search box and the possible results drop down (I don't know the technical term, sorry) they merely click on 'Amanda Holden - Actress' out of basic curiosity (as I did to find this article...) GiantSnowman 01:38, 25 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep and tag as {{unprintworthy}}. Redirects to resolve forked articles are a routine and more gentle way to point new editors to the place where their contributions will be more appreciated. The redirect is not obviously harmful or confusing so ignoring it is cheaper than deleting it. Rossami (talk) 03:56, 25 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
