Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Colonel Warden/List of people who have turned on the Oxford Street Christmas lights

The following discussion is an archived debate of the proposed deletion of the miscellaneous page below. Please do not modify it. The result of the discussion was Keep - The argument "no one is using this" is a weak argument in the face of the counter-argument "Hey, I'm using that". Given the existence of Category:Wikipedia administrators who will provide copies of deleted articles, deletion only creates more work for everyone, and pages do make it out of draft years later. • Delete WP:STALEDRAFT clearly applies. --Guy Macon (talk) 16:00, 3 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep, cf. <https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?diff=531116697&oldid=531102640>. --MZMcBride (talk) 17:44, 3 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete- after more than two years, it is clear that nothing will ever come of this. It's also an indiscriminate list of trivial that inherently fails our inclusion policies. Reyk YO! 01:59, 4 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • This MFD should have never existed. See comments here. bibliomaniac15 07:43, 6 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - In my view this is a notable topic for a list article and I don't see why this work should be lost simply because CW is a busy editor who hasn't yet found time to work on the content. So long as it's on the Colonel's to do list that's more than good enough for me.Rangoon11 (talk) 21:39, 6 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
    • This isn't a do-over of the AfD. STALEDRAFT deliberately does not specify a time scale, but that does not mean it should be assumed to be indefinite. I note that you're the original author, so obviously you think it's a notable subject. Chris Cunningham (user:thumperward) (talk) 11:00, 7 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep The page has just been gathering dust in my user space because I have had no pressing reason to work upon it and such user pages have not been brought to my attention. Now that they have, I am ready to do something about it and have made a start with User:Colonel Warden/Automobile ownership, which is coming along nicely. I am quite busy with other things in my life too though and so I don't currently have time to work upon all these topics at once. I should therefore be allowed reasonable time to work through this batch. Warden (talk) 00:32, 10 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
