What are the songs featured in this sample? Are you the composer of the songs heard in it? Wickethewok (talk) 21:38, 19 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Well, all of the recordings that you wrote and recorded yourself should be fine. File:Tudor_Tulok_-_Octrosall.ogg‎ might be problematic if any of the sound effects you used aren't public domain or are otherwise licensed/copyrighted in a way that would disallow their use this way. I take it then that you didn't create the songs mixed in File:Tudor Tulok - sample from 'Old Vibes Mix'.ogg? If so, then you can't license this audio track under a free license since the rights to the songs aren't yours to license. Wickethewok (talk) 21:54, 19 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Thank you for clarifying. :) Wickethewok (talk) 23:12, 19 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Minor edits[edit]

I see that you are makring all of your edits as "minor". On Wikipeia, minor edits are those that don't alter the content of an article, such as correcting spelling or fixing formatting. See WP:MINOR. Perhaps you have the "mark all edits as minor" check box marked in your preferences.   Will Beback  talk  20:39, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think many editors mark their edits as minor out of modesty. But that's not the right measurement. Anyway, thanks for contributing, in both major and minor ways.   Will Beback  talk  21:18, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

April 2009[edit]

In a recent edit, you changed one or more words from one international variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.

For subjects exclusively related to Britain (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to other English-speaking countries, such as Canada, Australia, or New Zealand, use the appropriate variety of English used there. If it is an international topic, use the same form of English the original author used.

In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to the other, even if you don't normally use the version the article is written in. Respect other people's versions of English. They in turn should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Wikipedia:Manual of Style. If you have any queries about all this, you can ask me on my talk page or you can visit the help desk. Thank you. Robofish (talk) 19:51, 12 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

edit notices[edit]

(transplanted from Sssoul's talk page): Could you show me articles with such edit notes. --TudorTulok (talk) 08:01, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

if you mean edit notices: the Help Desk itself has one - when you open the edit window there's a reiteration of what the help desk is/isn't for. there are more examples and instructions at the edit notice page.
if you mean articles with "hidden notes" in every section: List_of_Gibson_players is one.
if you need to reply to this please do it here on your own talk page, not on mine, okay? i'll keep it on my watchlist for a few hours so i'll notice if you respond. thanks Sssoul (talk) 09:36, 16 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Prog Trance[edit]

Discussion started here and continued here: Progressive Trance section on Mark PEA's talk page

I thought I'd just let you know, if you are interested in finding lots more progressive trance without having to sit infront of YouTube all day, you should listen to mixes by Markus Schulz and Armin van Buuren, they are most well known for playing these genres. They both have a weekly show on Thursdays, Schulz's is called "Global DJ Broadcast" and is on at 5pm UTC (midday ET), and Armin's show "A State of Trance" is on straight after that, at 7pm UTC (2pm ET). I rarely listen to them live but download the mp3 from the tranceaddict forums (they also have a playlist of all the tracks in the mix) http://www.tranceaddict.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?forumid=6. The threads are usually posted live so sometimes you have to search through the last few pages of a thread to find the download link. Also see http://www.mixhost.net/mixes.php, they have lots of A State of Trance episodes for direct download. --Mark PEA (talk) 12:03, 28 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Spam[edit]

I've removed your post to Wikipedia:Village pump (miscellaneous) again. Those sorts of links are not generally welcome on-site. I'm sure that you mean well, but Talk pages and the Village Pump are not a forum, and such "announcement" style posts are normally removed.

A tag has been placed on Before You Know It, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. The Musical Moment[edit]

The category was actually not correct; we categorize things on Wikipedia by what they are, not by indirectly related keywords. So a musical composition by a Romanian composer would get categorized as a musical composition, not as a composer — the relationship between an article and its categories should be "(TOPIC) is a (CATEGORY)", so the only things that belong in the Category:Romanian composers category are articles about the composers themselves, not articles about their compositions.

And even if it were the correct category for a piece of music, note also that the capitalization is "Romanian composers", not "Romanian Composers". Bearcat (talk) 16:34, 8 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:TombRaiderTheLastRevelation.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:TombRaiderTheLastRevelation.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:02, 5 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Important Notice[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in post-1932 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

I was adding a comment on the talk page of a sensitive article, I provided links and refernces, thinking it might help adding that "value" to the main article. I am confident that once the topic will become less sensitive, that "value" will be added to the article. I am not editing the article at all. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Fluidesign requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. You could be more specific and less vague. If we take my discussion about democracy. I am stating a clear point, unaware that the main article about democracy is split into direct and representative democracy. The main democracy article could specifcy that most of the time when people say democracy, they talk about representative democracy, and few people have experienced or demanded a direct democracy in their country. The article does not specifcy the contrast between the two democracy, and the fact that representative democracy is not the pure form of democracy, but the direcy democracy is. Skin colour[edit]

Please do not make nonsensical edits like this. [3][4] As the articles make clear, being described as 'white' or 'black' isn't an assertion about people having skin tones precisely matching some sort of arbitrary criteria, and suggesting that people who have been described as such (or indeed, describe themselves as such) "don't exist" is outright offensive. AndyTheGrump (talk) 10:30, 7 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I don't care what is offesnive. Scientfically black and white skin does not exist. You don't need primary school for that. TudorTulok (talk) 10:32, 7 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You could have a read on Quora, people of different opinons (https://www.quora.com/Is-saying-you-dont-believe-in-race-racist), but I don't think that people of diferent opinons is your thing. You are here on Wikipedia to perptuate your own ideas, and revert edits that don't fit your narative. It's a long battle you are taking on. You will get tired of it one day. No one called you racist, you don't realise that you are part of your own narrative, your own battle to protect a lost cause. My long-life choice of not using the word black and white skin, or 3D films, as it was marketed, it will not change, but obscuring the truth from the Wikipedia readers is a crime. You will have the epifany when you are old and look back at your accomplishments, you will realise: "what a silly Wikipedia admin I was in my youth, defending causes and insulting people". Live long and prosper, my feelow human. --- TudorTulok (talk) 13:52, 7 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I am 65 years old (and not an admin). You, on the other hand, are full of shit, and arguably delusional. AndyTheGrump (talk) 14:01, 7 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Your age explains it all, why you and Donald Trump have so much in common. ---- TudorTulok (talk) 14:43, 7 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Fluidesign boats moved to draftspace[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Fluidesign boats. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and it is promotional and reads like an advertisement. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
