I think there might be a bit too much detail about her marriage in the lead though, and your edits suggest that you agree. I'm going to WP:BOLD-ly summarise that a bit, move the referenced detail down to the relevant section, rename the section "Personal life" (as in most BLPs), and move it below the section about her career (as in most BLPs), to make the tone a bit less gossipy and MOS:LEADREL. Hiya, no, no I agree. There's a trend for editors to get the Daily Mail and rush to include as much detail about as much of this stuff as prominently as they are able. Some are genuinely eager to include new stuff, others are clearly ill-wishers and some are SPAs. This is true of Mohammed bin Rashid's page and also the recently deceased son of the Ruler of Sharjah, where people were clearly going to waste no time using the Sun to get that salacious stuff in. In general, I'm in favour of keeping BLPs balanced and accurate but you can sometimes feel there's a 'rush' on! Best Alexandermcnabb (talk) 12:30, 4 August 2019 (UTC)

What it really needs to prevent it being deleted is not media files but references from WP:Reliable sources to show how she's notable, as explained at WP:BIO. Have you found any articles about her online in reliable Hindi sources? I can find very little online in English, and I can't read Hindi. I assume you can, since you created the article. There's no need to send any documentation. It's clear from her website that "Toukan" is her preferred spelling of her surname in Latin script. But like many family names in Arabic, طوقان is commonly transliterated in various Latin spellings: Tuqan, Toukan, Touqan, Tukan. Several reliable sources spell her name as "Tukan", as I've shown in just a few references, and the article has to reflect that, rather than ignore it. Most of what you added was unsourced. I removed only the additions that weren't supported by reliable sources. It doesn't matter how well we know something about a person: on Wikipedia, we have to WP:Verify what we write in WP: Biographies of living people with WP: Reliable sources. Oh, loads. Around twenty, I think. The last three (The Mighty Glen, Donutron, and Flapjacktastic) were incorrectly blocked for sockpuppetry.

I mailed the last admin who asked (as Flapjacktastic), and gave a full explanation. They didn't bother to reply, and blocked me anyway, deciding that I'm User:BKIF, which is pretty hilarious given the location history of edits listed at the LTA. Central UK, yes that's where I live. Spain, once yes on a rare holiday. London? No. Chile? China? Hahaha, I wish, but no. And it bothers me that real socks of that LTA account are going to be missed if the pattern being hunted is wrong.

Hi, :Tracy Von Doom

I'm inquiring about a redirect you instituted from Annaka Harris to Sam Harris. They are not the same person. Sam his her husband, and she was the editor of one of his books, but she is a bestselling author in her own right, not just the spouse of another bestselling author. I discovered she doesn't have a page here after hearing about her latest book on the radio and went looking for more info (hence, the page). What do I need to do to spell out that they're not the same person? Your guidance is appreciated. -- Technutt

Crystal Capital Partners (Company)

This is my first post and I noticed you did a speedy deletion. You stated there was copywrite infringment from a Business Wire article. I have cited that specific article and done a plagirizim checker on the piece and everything seems to be 100% unique. I have also had our compliance team review everything on the wiki page to make sure it was up to par. Please let me know how I can resolve this issue. Again I am new to this an need some guidence. I'd suggest that you wait for someone who isn't connected with your company to write about it. If it's notable, someone will eventually. In the meantime, there are nearly six million other articles you can edit, and many millions more subjects which haven't had an article written about them yet. • Tracy, "in the meantime" - I call this the "anyone can become a Wikipedia editor if you talk to them the right way" syndrome. OK, Mjrichmond44 has made some other edits but they were probably just to enable them to reach the appropriate status to be able to create a new article. I note that they created Green Business League in 2010 which got deleted as spam. That was probably their employer at that time.

Mjrichmond44, I echo Tracy's "suggest that you wait". What do your compliance team know about compliance with Wikipedia standards? Tracy and I are part of the Wikipedia compliance team and I hope we are making our views abundantly clear.
