Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Trigunmaximum.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Trigunmaximum.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 26 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for bothering you, but...[edit]

New Page Patrol needs experienced volunteers
  • New Page Patrol is currently struggling to keep up with the influx of new articles. We could use a few extra hands on deck if you think you can help.
  • Reviewing/patrolling a page doesn't take much time but it requires a good understanding of Wikipedia policies and guidelines; Wikipedia needs experienced users to perform this task and there are precious few with the appropriate skills. Even a couple reviews a day can make a huge difference.
  • If you would like to join the project and help out, please see the granting conditions and review our instructions page. You can apply for the user-right HERE. — Insertcleverphrasehere (or here)(click me!) 21:03, 1 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Help with capitalization[edit]

I've been working on pages for the manga Edens Zero with its official translation, but I've hit a bit of a snag regarding the capitalization guidelines. The title is named after a spaceship that, as shown in the officially published English afterwords of the manga, is written in all caps as EDENS ZERO. According to chapter 15, the EDENS part of the name is an acronym, which I believe falls in line with their respective guidelines, but the ZERO part is not. As for the title of the manga itself, the capitalization is inconsistent among distribution and news sites, including the Kodansha's official English page, Crunchyroll, and Comixology; however, the majority of articles I've found with names that are traditionally written in all caps, with the exception of WIXOSS, are given standard capitalization in their titles, some without any mention of stylized caps (e.g., Bleach).

My personal solution to this would be to leave the title of the article as it is, but fully capitalize the fictional ship name in a manner similar to Final Fantasy VII articles, which continue to write SOLDIER and AVALANCHE as you see them here, how they appear in most games (note that Final Fantasy VII Remake changes the latter to "Avalanche", but keeps the "SOLDIER" cap). However, that raises my own concerns for how acceptable the article would look, in which case the only workaround I see would be a sourced note of the capitalization within the article. What would you suggest? User:SubZeroSilver (talk) 15:10, 15 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Vash the Stampede[edit]

@Baffle gab1978: Thanks for the copyedit. One of my worries about Vash's article is whether or not the reception is properly organization in regards to popularity and critical so I wonder if you could move or rearrange a certain part. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 23:05, 16 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I'll see what I can do; some of the text is poorly written and is difficult for me to parse. I'll move any large blocks and references I remove to the article's talk page in case it's useful or breaks any refs. Cheers, Baffle☿gab 01:49, 17 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, what's a Plant in this context? Is that the character's race or something else? Example: "In the anime, Vash, as a Plant, requires a special weapon known as the Angel Arm..." Is this a significant point or can I remove it? It isn't explained at all. Cheers, Baffle☿gab 02:36, 17 March 2020 (UTC) [reply]

() Don't worry about the above para; I'm done with this now. I've done a major tidy of the Reception section; should be a bit more acceptable now. Cheers, Baffle☿gab 08:43, 17 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Tekken series page[edit]

Hi there. Since we have been on good terms in the past when editing articles, I wanted to come to your talk page to explain my decision on bringing back the video games table on the Tekken article. I wrote this in the note when I edited it, but the table that is there delineates all of the platforms each respective game release, the arcade board for each, and also denotes each game that was specifically released in arcades first. I think this table is valuable to the article because it is essentially a quick summary of Tekken's major release history, and the timeline that I moved to the spinoffs section actually does not cover all of that. It's important to note also that other video game articles sometimes include both a table and a timeline, and considering Tekken's development history, having the table there helps to describe its release process. Ok so I rewrote the article, I don’t think I cut anything, and I’ll rewrite the intro tonight. So I nominated it for GA! Could you look at the article and put cites at the end of sentences that don’t have them? I don’t want to get grilled about where’s the reference, and I bet you know where to put the cites. Does this reference you added have a title? The cleanup bot flagged it as needing one. Please don’t remove it, I love that you are strengthening all our Square Enix Ga’s, but if you could add a title that would be great. Judgesurreal777 (talk) 19:51, 22 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please check the source before removing it[edit]

" Reddit fails to be a reliable source " That is not the case here. What as linked was not an opinion post on reddit, it is a page where all the official sources were gathered. The compilation of all the sources just happened to be on reddit because that's where the Code Geass community is most active — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.82.46.46 (talk) 00:34, 5 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Compilation[edit]

I think you missed the point. Reddit is not the source, it's merely the page where all the links are gathered. So the fact that reddit is a fansite is not relevant since all the links to the director's twitter and interviews are located there. It is not a "talk page" on reddit, it is a compilation page of all the news — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.82.46.46 (talk) 00:55, 5 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please keep working on Square Enix articles, it’s wonderful having you! Judgesurreal777 (talk) 02:51, 18 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Judgesurreal777: Thanks. Ironically, I've been editing the .hack editing more lately. You are also quite awesome with the your edits to the Square Enix articles. Are you planning to make VII Remake GA too?Tintor2 (talk) 15:11, 19 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Anything there is about the making or design or Rinoa and her dog Angelo would be greatly appreciated! Perhaps they could take a picture and email it to me... Judgesurreal777 (talk) 23:36, 19 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Naruto: Shippuden[edit]

Hello, do you think if we divide the list of episodes as it says here, or in this way:

In Japan the series was never broadcast for seasons.— Bradford💬 02:00, 24 June 2020 (UTC) @Bradford: Better start that discussion in the talk page to reach a consensus there.Tintor2 (talk) 02:03, 24 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

RE:Nice job[edit]

Hi, Tintor. Thank you! Yeah, I'm Italian. I'm currently expanding and reviewng NGE articles in Italian, since I'm reading The Evangelion Style by Morikawa and new official material. En.wiki articles seriously needs to be updated. I will expand Shinji, Rei and Asuka articles here on English Wiki, and maybe rewrite all Eva-related articles in the future. Maybe creating Episode articles too. My dream is to see the GA status on all of them. Someday, somewhere.--User:TeenAngels1234 (talk) 17:06, 28 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I guess Proposal images are useful, too. This image, without Japanese text, should be great.--User:TeenAngels1234 (talk) 17:21, 28 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Of course, there're many articles related to Evangelion characters. For example, Scholar has almost two hundred Academic articles related to Shinji. Mechademia 5 has something like four different scholars reviewing Evangelion 1.0. For Shinji Ikari I largely preffered official material, like Evangelion Chronicle or Newtype filmbooks. The problem is that academic analysis tend to be questionable. Here for the analysis. I will expand the various Appearence sections. The Complete Records Collections can largely help, in this case, together with Newtype, Animage, the archived Gainax site, and so on.--User:TeenAngels1234 (talk) 18:13, 28 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Here’s a nice short article ProtoDrake put together and gave me permission to guide to GA status. Could you review it? It’s nice and short like G-Bike was! Judgesurreal777 (talk) 05:02, 4 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the review! It’s a lot better than it was before the review, always a sign of a quality Good Article review. Just so you know, I also have Rad Racer and Left Alive, also not too big, if you’re not too busy :) Judgesurreal777 (talk) 22:29, 4 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Judgesurreal777: No problem. I might give it a try next week. Now I'm kinda busy with .hack//G.U. as it still needs some clean up to make it GA.Tintor2 (talk) 19:54, 5 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Good luck with that! Just to update you my two articles nominated at the moment are Yoichi Wada and Ryuji Sasai. Judgesurreal777 (talk) 02:04, 9 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Judgesurreal777: Both look good but I would recommend the lead of Wada to at least two paragraphs per guidelines.Tintor2 (talk) 18:02, 9 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

July 2020[edit]

Hey there, Tintor. Thank you for the links and keeping in touch with me despite my ignorance in replying in a timely manner. I might add the picture of Boon into the Ermac article sometime in the future. Liu Kang's looking good, and I want to try to get Johnny Cage into GA nom territory soon after putting it off for more than a year.

While I'm here, I would like your opinion on a couple things. During the GA process for Ermac, Freikorp advised I restrict the infobox to game-only appearances. I wholly agree with that because otherwise boxes just get way too cluttered, plus they were game characters first and every alternate appearance doesn't need to be listed; that's the purpose of the article itself. I've been removing non-game voice actors but keeping/re-adding live portrayals (movies, TV), as that seems to be the unwritten consensus nowadays. Second, I've had issues with user PizzaTime04 reverting my MK edits without explanation (i.e., my removing an unneeded quote and content from Sheeva's article that I myself had added years ago, and him instantly reverting it) and repeatedly inserting content such as Clancy Brown voicing Ermac in DotR (no source proves this) and Ed Boon co-creating Quan Chi (not true). He hasn't edited anything MK over the past few days, either to take a break or to avoid 3RR, but the nonsense will inevitably start again. This leads to one last thing: in Noob Saibot's infobox, he keeps adding Sub-Zero from MK1 as the character's first appearance, which is both false and in-universe as his official debut was in MKII. I'll go ahead and ping @Freikorp: because I value his input as much as yours. Cheers and sorry for the lengthy ramble. :) sixtynine • whaddya want? • 00:14, 16 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Beemer69: The whole SubZero's identity is a bit confusing to handle. It's like writing an article like heroes like Grayson who is the first Robin and then becomes Nightwing. Maybe we could ask the project for help.Tintor2 (talk) 00:51, 16 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Tintor2, the c/e went quite smoothly but I found in the 'Reception' section, the text was very awkward, which is probably the result of machine translation. You should check I haven't misinterpreted anything; still I did my best. Cheers, Baffle☿gab 02:56, 4 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The fact was ... that Go Nagai toned down the character of Akira Fudo, a human-like demon, in the manga Devilman in order to convey an anti-war message? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Akira Fudo. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Akira Fudo), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. GOCE copyedit request[edit]

psycho pass[edit]

First some of the details about the story are cut that are necessary, and there isn't anything explaining what the sibly system is or how it works. Also by mentioning people from the show while explain it is not bad nor am I going into heavy detail about them. I am just saying what's necessary while explaining the story as so it doesn't go in a different section. So what I did was simply add more detail about the story, and lastly Wikipedia has no solid rules just guide lines (````) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gamebo56 (talkcontribs) 18:16, 16 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Not an expert in the subject so I wanted you to see if the changes were okay. But the way, if you plan a Fa nomination, I would suggest a peer review. Other than that, most Evangelion characters seem fine except Misato and Gendo who lack real world info. If possible try providing the original source for Shinji's infobox image Tintor2 (talk) 23:57, 30 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the advice. I will start a peer review for Shinji, of course; that was my idea, considering that I'm not a native English speaker. And thank for the GA review on Shinji. Would you like to review Rei, anyway?--User:TeenAngels1234 (talk) 12:22, 31 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Tintor. Yeah, I can review the article about Kimihiro tomorrow. And, yeah. I'm kinda busy know, since I work the whole day in a call center, but I'm planning to promote all the articles about Evangelion characters as GAs here (and possibly as a Good Topic, in the future). RE:Rearrangment[edit]

Well. Yeah. For example, Creation section is far better at the beggining. Reception, yeah, looks too long. Nothing serious. Too many polls mentioned, for example. A repetition of the word "including". Or informations that doesn't fit with the section, for me. Apertis verbis, I want to clarify that's still OK for a GA article. For a FAN a PR can help. Anyway, I just nominated Angel Attack. It's the first article about an anime episode to be nominated after a long time here, but the article itself is brief. It would be great to have you as reviewer again. PS. Thank you. I hope you enjoyed these holidays, too :)--User:TeenAngels1234 (talk) 11:51, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

X (manga)[edit]

Hello:

The copy edit you requested from the Guild of Copy Editors of the article X (manga) has been completed.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

I wanted to let you know that I was unable to understand this part of the second paragraph of the Plot section: "Across the manga, Kamui and his allies the Dragon of Earth multiple times but cannot protect most barriers, resulting in multiple out disasters taking down Tokyo. Seishiro forces Subaru to kill him to accomplish Hokuto's last wish. Subaru later learns from Fuma that Seishiro wanted to leave a mark in his Subaru through an eye transplant, subsequently replacing the late Dragon of Earth. Similarly, the Dragon of Heaven Arashi Kishu is kidnapped by the dark altergo of Hinoto who has to fill the place of the late Dragon of Earth Nataku." So this will need work.

The is also true for this section of the Alternative scenarios section: "In the TV series, all of the Dragons of Heavens lose their powers to create barriers because they lose their most important people leaving Tokyo defenseless. As Hinoto commits suicide to stop her alternate self from attacking the Dragons of Heaven, Kamui goes to face Fuma. Kamui is defeated due not reaching Dragons of Heaven powers and for abandoning his wish of restoring the old Fuma and instead trying to kill him. Subaru assists Kamui, claiming that he should retain his original wish regardless of how selfish he could be."

I think I understood the rest of the article, but I know you'll read through it to make sure I haven't misunderstood any of it.

Regards,

Twofingered Typist (talk) 20:03, 13 January 2021 (UTC) @Twofingered Typist: Thanks for the copyedit. I tried giving it a another look.Tintor2 (talk) 21:20, 13 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: Sorry, I'm afraid that this sentence is still unclear: "Across the manga, Kamui and his allies, the Dragons of Earth, multiple times but cannot protect most barriers, resulting in multiple out disasters taking down Tokyo. In a one-on-onematch, Seishiro activates Hokuto's dying spell so that Subaru would be forced the man he loved. This causes Subaru to lose his will to fight until learning from Fuma Seishiro's wish; Seishiro wanted to leave a mark in his Subaru through an eye transplant, subsequently replacing the late Dragon of Earth." Twofingered Typist (talk) 14:08, 14 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Twofingered Typist: I trimmed it a bit. It's kinda hard to explain without overdetailing. Basically in one fight Subaru lost an eye when fighting Fuma while Seishiro was staring. After Seishiro dies, Fuma reveals to Subaru that Seishiro had a wish which was removing all trace from Fuma in Subaru's body. As a result, Fuma gives Subaru an eye transplant which at the same time motivates Subaru to live as thus Seishiro would keep exisiting. This subsequently causes Subaru to replace Seishiro as a Dragon of Earth.Tintor2 (talk) 19:18, 14 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: Looks good now! Twofingered Typist (talk) 21:31, 14 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Makoto Naegi[edit]

Sorry if I don't answer right away, Tintor, but I'm kinda busy. About Makoto. Link the Wikia page in References, as done for Shinji or Rei. For Ogata. Strange, he looks like Kaworu. Ah, BTW. I once asked someone who worked on the Danganrompa soundtrack for permission for a photo of Ogata. You can find it in the various international articles or on Commons. Put it in Voice with a multiple image template. Anyway. Have you tried with Google News, even in Japanese? Scholar can help too. Shirou looks OK to me.--User:TeenAngels1234 (talk) 22:08, 7 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sure! We can exchange reviews, of course. About the Anno interview. Yes, I personally own that artbook. I bought it two years ago on Amazon and used it for the Italian article about the Evas, which is already a Good Article. Now I want to create some new articles about the episodes for en.wiki instead of translating the same old stuff from it.wiki, but in the coming weeks I will.--User:TeenAngels1234 (talk) 13:40, 8 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Okay. After Jas declaration of consense the file is fine now. Thank you, Tintor, as always. BTW. You can technically use the whole photo for other Danganrompa articles. IIRC, JasMace worked on the OST with Ogata. Having a picture from someone who actually worked on DR is good.--User:TeenAngels1234 (talk) 22:55, 13 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:RuiKomatsuzaki.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:RuiKomatsuzaki.jpg.

Thank you. –MJLTalk 09:17, 8 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The article Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope's Peak High School you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope's Peak High School for comments about the article. Well done! If the article has not already appeared on the main page as a "Did you know" item, or as a bold link under "In the News" or in the "On This Day" prose section, you can nominate it within the next seven days to appear in DYK. Bolded names with dates listed at the bottom of the "On This Day" column do not affect DYK eligibility. Disambiguation link notification for March 21[edit]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Alucard (Hellsing), you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Alexander Anderson and Gonzo.

Barnstar for you[edit]

The Video Game Barnstar
Hey there, just dropping you a note of appreciation and encouragement. I see Hajime Hinata is also back in mainspace, so congratulations as well. Haleth (talk) 08:26, 22 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Haleth: Thanks for the barnstar. For now I'm into creating other articles but I plan to nominate Osamu Dazai (Bungo Stray Dogs) after copyediting it. Same with Alucard (Hellsing).Tintor2 (talk) 21:10, 22 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Tintor, I noticed the Barnstar message here was causing display issues on the rest of your Talk page, so I thought I'd go ahead and fix it. Hope this helps! Jalen Folf (talk) 05:55, 30 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Useful source?[edit]

Thanks Tintor, as always, for your interest. The source is more than useful, for sure. I don't know why but I used it for Asuka but not for Shinji. I will definitely use the Qbook now (and, eventually, for the Evangelion 3.0 article in the future). Thanks for your wishes. Good job to you too.--TeenAngels1234 (talk) 21:31, 27 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It's always nice to see Tomokazu Seki, Toji's voice actor. What do you mean with "use them in the form of citations"? If you refer to the template, I use the normal ones (cite publication, e.g.). If you are referring to prose, well, it depends on many variables. A good way is "the movie pamphlet describes it as", as I did for Rei Ayanami. For exampe, in Creation you can write: Urubochi noticed differences between Kougami and Makishima, since Kougami doesn’t have as panoramic the vision as Makishima. Fukami described Kougami as the type to be happy when encountering bad people because "he just loves justice", while for Urubochi he isn’t "that great a person he could change the world" and he's "just a loser".--TeenAngels1234 (talk) 22:12, 27 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
OK then. Well, as I said you can simply use the cite publication. Cite journal should be avoided, because we are not talking about "journals" in the strict sense. I usually try to use the original Japanese title, however, except for those pamphlets that don't editorially have a proper title (like the Red Cross Book, which is simply the "The End of Evangelion theatrical pamphlet"). Just like this.--TeenAngels1234 (talk) 23:24, 27 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello![edit]

It's been a while since I edited PP on Wikipedia, but I found some time and energy to review the current Kogami article for grammar and such. I hope you don't mind. Ouranista (talk) 00:35, 28 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Highlighting Links[edit]

Hi there, I'm wondering what the wikipedia protocol is on this topic bc on the wikias I administer, we only highlight a link the first time the name or phrase appears in an article. More than that seems superfluous, but wikipedia may have a different set of rules. Do you know about this and if there is no specific protocol, how do you feel about removing the excessive links? Kirigiri[edit]

Hello II saw you make Makoto Naegi and can you make Danganronpa Kirigiri as it is my favorite book and it is notable? 211.197.11.19 (talk) 01:49, 30 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The Kirigiri book. Could you fix article so it is not deleted? 211.197.11.19 (talk) 17:33, 31 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Tintor, be mindful that this is the same sockpuppet you've ran into before on other Danganronpa articles. Be careful not to proxy edit for them. -- ferret (talk) 16:56, 2 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Wikia[edit]

Hi, Tintor. I'll read these days. At first glance it looks good to me, TBH. The only thing that looks dubious to me: "Appearances" seems a bit too long. Will you propose it as a Good Article in the future?--TeenAngels1234 (talk) 14:21, 7 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Tintor. It's me. I tried my best with a CE for the article. I hope it works.--TeenAngels1234 (talk) 13:59, 10 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
PS. According to the article, Makoto was elected best "female" character in a survey. Is this correct?--TeenAngels1234 (talk) 14:00, 10 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
