Hi there. I saw you changed a long-standing redirect into a stub article, and then someone proposed its deletion. Since the topic has been stale for 15 years apparently, it's unlikely the article has WP:POTENTIAL. If you want to re-create it, please discuss it on the relevant Talk pages. If you need any help, please don't hesitate to reply on my Talk page. --Joy [shallot] (talk) 16:06, 18 January 2017 (UTC)
Your draft article, Draft:List of unicameral legislatures[edit]

Hello, Carrot official. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "List of unicameral legislatures".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply and remove the {{db-afc}}
or {{db-g13}}
code.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Legacypac (talk) 18:34, 25 August 2017 (UTC)

Unspecified source/license for File:IPhone Calculator.jpg[edit]
Thanks for uploading File:IPhone Calculator.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}}
(to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

A tag has been placed on Category:Italian football clubs established in 1967 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Liz Read! Redirects[edit]
Hello, Partofthemachine,
Please review Wikipedia:Redirect#Purposes of redirects. It is not helpful to make a redirect for every possible misspelling of a name. And if there is an article on Alexa Dectis, it makes no sense to create a redirect at Alexa Dectis (actor) because readers will just search for her name, Alexa Dectis, and are unlikely to add "actor" to their search terms. Redirects should be for alternative names & terms that readers might search for, not more complicated versions of their names. Wikipedia:Redirect has a lot of helpful information that will be useful if you choose to spend time on this editing task. You might also visit Redirects for Discussion where editors discuss whether questionable redirects should be kept or deleted. Liz Read! Talk! 05:58, 24 March 2021 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Serial Number 54129. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, it's important to be mindful of the feelings of your fellow editors, who may be frustrated by certain types of interaction, such as your addition to Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:GregJackP/Admin criteria. While you probably didn't intend any offense, please do remember that Wikipedia strives to be an inclusive atmosphere. Speedy deletion nomination of Giannis Nikopolidis[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Giannis Nikopolidis requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Kpgjhpjm 23:13, 16 April 2021 (UTC)

The article Daniel Wu (soccer) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. JTtheOG (talk) 00:07, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
Nomination of Daniel Wu (soccer) for deletion[edit]

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Daniel Wu (soccer) until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article.

Ministry of Radio Technology moved to draftspace[edit]
An article you recently created, Ministry of Radio Technology, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:

When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Per UTRS appeal #60827,[edit]
will restore Talk Page Access so that user may request unblocking here. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 14:18, 17 July 2022 (UTC)
Block appeal[edit]

Partofthemachine (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
(Note: This is largely copied from a previous appeal that I was not able to post on the talk page.)
I would like to take this opportunity to appeal the indefinite block I was given in April 2021. The reason I was blocked was primarily because of two factors. First, I nominated a largely legitimate user subpage for deletion because I disliked the user that created it. I now recognize that this was immature and a waste of editors' time. Second, I created user pages and user talk pages for new users even though this was not necessary, because those users can create pages of their own. Because it has now been over a year since I was blocked, I request to be unblocked per WP:SO. Partofthemachine (talk) 21:12, 17 July 2022 (UTC)
Accept reason:
- You forgot the part from your UTRS ticket where you described what constructive edits you would make. No unblock request is complete without that. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 21:52, 17 July 2022 (UTC)
- (Again mostly from the UTRS ticket.) I will engage in making mostly the same types of edits that I was making prior to April 2021 (aside from the ones that are considered unconstructive obviously), such as grammar fixes, topics related to programming and mathematics, and AFD discussions. Partofthemachine (talk) 01:57, 18 July 2022 (UTC)
- Inclined to unblock. @Graham87: What say you. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 06:21, 18 July 2022 (UTC)

This is the only message I will leave here. I have very politely asked you to stay off my talk page. That is a perfectly normal request and on Wikipedia it is expected to be respected. I have been around on Wikipedia for a great many years and there are 629 people watching my talk page, there are 24,059 links to it and 2,733 editors have contributed to it. In 16 years you are only the 4th person I have asked to stay away. Take my advice, you have already invited sanctions and you are continuing to step on our policies. Enjoy your editing but do try avoid being a Wiki policeman until you have a lot more experience. Maybe Chris troutman is the person to ask, he's as experienced as I am - perhaps more so. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 03:09, 8 November 2022 (UTC)
- Partofthemachine, Kudpung is right when he says that the norm on Wikipedia is that when an editor bans you from their talk page, you stay away forever. I, myself, have been banned by two other editors from their talk pages (each about five years ago) and I respect their requests. If you have questions ask me but leave Kudpung out of this. Chris Troutman (talk) 03:51, 8 November 2022 (UTC)

- This is the last comment I will make about this situation: I don't have anything against Kudpung, and I agree that he was right in discouraging the user in question from starting an RfA. I just think it would have been better if he had just linked to WP:NOTNOW instead of saying he would need to wait 3 years before even thinking about becoming an admin. G10 deletion request[edit]
You are creating a massive Streisand effect with your G10 nominations. Please reconsider your G10 tagging and deletion requests for user and user talk pages that have not been edited for years, it's just shining a spotlight on them and feeding the trolls.-- Ponyobons mots 23:29, 2 February 2023 (UTC)
- Keep in mind that many of these pages show up in the search results for these users. Partofthemachine (talk) 00:16, 3 February 2023 (UTC)
- You have to be specifically looking for them, and even then, G10 rarely applies as the pages created are not attack pages (which makes G10 inapplicable), it's the user names that are disruptive. If you want usernames from over a decade ago removed, they would need to be globally oversighted, but again the Streisand effect comes into play. With your most recent declined request, you've now created an MFD, which puts the name smack in the forefront and across multiple recent change lists and logs. While I understand your intentions, you are accomplishing the opposite of what you're trying to achieve.-- Ponyobons mots 00:25, 3 February 2023 (UTC)

I think you should just heed Mario's words and let them be, they don't need modification by you. And I don't think you should be editing the Long-term abuse list either but I'll leave that matter to the clerks and CUers. Liz Read! Talk! 07:15, 24 February 2023 (UTC)
Hello, Partofthemachine,
I have a request to ask. When you are tagging pages for deletion, please post a notification on the talk page of the page creator letting them know of the deletion tagging. I see that you use Twinkle, which is great, but check your Twinkle Preferences and make sure that the box stating "Notify page creator" is checked off. It should then be checked off every time you tag a page for any type of deletion, CSD, PROD, AFD/RFD/MFD/etc. but it doesn't hurt to double-check and make sure it is checked. It's just best practices for editors who do patrolling so I'd appreciate you adopting this habit. Many thanks! Liz Read! Talk! 07:08, 24 February 2023 (UTC)
- I generally do, but this particular draft was created by a long-term abuser that creates drafts with nonsense text (Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Gsthae with tempo!), and they clearly already know that their pages are eligible for speedy deletion.
