The Ellensburg Rodeo is a notable organization, entrenched in rodeo history of the Pacific Northwest. It is regularly featured on the main rodeo newsites, such as Rodeo News (https://rodeonews.com/?s=ellensburg+rodeo&submit=GO) and Pro Rodeo (https://www.prorodeo.com/news). Bennett was a well-known competitor during the 1920's and 30's, winning the Northwest Rodeo Championship at the Ellensburg Rodeo in 1929, and the Kittitas County Championship twice in 1927 and 1931. I think his career is similar to Clay Carr, who has his own Wikipedia page: https://wiki.alquds.edu/?query=Clay_Carr

Based on all this, plus Bennett being involved with the Ellensburg Rodeo for over 60 years and being a well known celebrity in his community, I think Bennett is a notable person.
