How you can help

Hello N sahi. Welcome, as i put above. I wanted to visit you and tell you why i undid one of your recent edits. You took out a template ~ {{Disambiguation needed|date=October 2013}} ~ which indicates that the word preceding it is not clear. I have put it back because Gomati takes you to what is called a disambiguation page, as you can see if you click on the link i just put in. We need to know which Gomati River is intended (there are three or four possibilities listed on that page) before we can take out the template, so please don't repeat what you did without correcting the issue.
I also see that you put back in some links which i had removed. I shall not take them out immediately, but i will point out to you that these words/names are already linked in the article, and Wikipedia recommends not having multiple links to the same place in an article. You might want to consider reading the Manual of Style to see that and many other interesting points.
If i can help in any way, as the Welcome above says, please feel free to ask. Cheers, LindsayHello 01:12, 29 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for January 29[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Ramcharitmanas, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bharata. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. References[edit]

Using ":10" as the name for a reference is not very clear for other editors. Have a look at Template:Sfn; it's a great way to create short inline references for multiple uses of sources. Best regards, Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 07:34, 9 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
