Welcome![edit]

Hello, Yeagvr, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as The Thundermans (season 1), may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may not be retained.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{help me}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Geraldo Perez (talk) 21:44, 28 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Your contributed article, The Thundermans (season 1)[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, The Thundermans (season 1). First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – List of The Thundermans episodes. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at List of The Thundermans episodes – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Geraldo Perez (talk) 21:44, 28 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

September 2014[edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give List of The Thundermans episodes a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut-and-paste-move repair holding pen. Thank you. Geraldo Perez (talk) 21:47, 28 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from The Thundermans (season 2), a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion and appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. --k6ka (talk | contribs) 21:49, 28 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Emis Killa discography requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. A tag has been placed on IHeartRadio Latin Music Festival, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

Information icon Hello, I'm Dcbanners. I noticed that you made a change to an article, List of Every Witch Way episodes, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did to List of Every Witch Way episodes, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Dcbanners (talk) 17:14, 30 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to List of Every Witch Way episodes. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Dcbanners (talk) 17:20, 30 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

March 2015[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Henry Danger into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Generally splits to episode articles are done when season 2 has episodes for a season 2 table. See WP:SPLIT. Geraldo Perez (talk) 14:00, 29 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Image tagging for File:Wanda Da rules.PNG[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Wanda Da rules.PNG. You don't seem to have said where the image came from or who created it. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

To add this information, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Orphaned non-free image File:Wanda Da rules.PNG[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Wanda Da rules.PNG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 22:14, 5 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Every Witch Way, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page English. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Non-free rationale for File:Wanda Da rules.PNG[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Wanda Da rules.PNG. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. The article Federico Russo has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. nyuszika7h (talk) 13:21, 9 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, Colli Aminei, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). Notice

The article QVC (Italian TV channel) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Borderline X2, only source is a brief mention of a leadership change.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Copyright violation[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the iOS article, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text—which means allowing other people to modify it—then you must include on the external site the statement: "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later, and under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribute Share-Alike".

You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question at the Help Desk. You can also leave a message on my talk page. --Yamla (talk) 14:36, 13 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Yamla: Sorry, but why is the photo I put is copyviol? The photo you left in its place is identical. Yeagvr (talk) 14:47, 13 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Not at all. The older photo has a detailed fair-use rationale for the use of this copyrighted image. You didn't provide that for the new image. Note that the fair-use rationale is severely lacking (it indicates it's solely for illustration, but we require that it is used for critical commentary), but at least it is there. There must be an individual detailed fair-use rationale for each use of a non-free image. You are free to reintroduce the image if, but only if, you provide that rationale. --Yamla (talk) 14:57, 13 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Yamla: So do I have to enter a reason in the edit summary field? For example that is fair use and the image is for illustrative purposes only

If the image is for illustrative purposes only, you are not permitted to use it. See WP:FAIRUSE. If you wish to use it for critical commentary in adherence to WP:FAIRUSE, you need to edit the image's description page itself to provide your detailed fair-use rationale. --Yamla (talk) 17:21, 13 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
You need to add your rationale to the image itself. That is, you need to add it to File:IOS 14 Homescreen.png. You need to explain how it is used to identify and provide critical commentary on the software in question. --Yamla (talk) 21:28, 25 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Yamla: The rational is already there, among other things it is the same as the image File:IOS 13 Homescreen iPhone X.png but you have left it, what is the difference? --Yeagvr (talk) 21:31, 25 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It is there now, but wasn't when I removed the image from the page. You added the rationale approximately three minutes later. You are now welcome to reintroduce the image as you have provided the detailed fair-use rationale! Thanks for doing so. --Yamla (talk) 21:41, 25 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Yamla: I thought it might be enough, I didn't understand. Thank you --Yeagvr (talk) 21:44, 25 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

When you added the image to the article, you had not yet provided a detailed fair-use rationale on File:IOS 14 Homescreen.png. Therefore, I removed the image. Three minutes after I removed the image, and two minutes after I told you about the problem, you added a detailed fair-use rationale on File:IOS 14 Homescreen.png. Now that you have done so, you are welcome to add the image back to the article. Pay close attention to the timeline here. --Yamla (talk) 21:47, 25 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
(Oh, and if you are saying you didn't understand but now do, fantastic! You can ignore my explanation, because you've already figured out the problem :) ) --Yamla (talk) 21:50, 25 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Made in Sud[edit]

Hello, Yeagvr. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Made in Sud".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 20:27, 16 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted your addition of an unsourced date of birth to Torrey DeVitto. In addition to Wikipedia's basic principle of citing sources (Wikipedia:Citing sources), a special need for citations applies with regard to elements of a biography of a living person (WP:BLPPRIVACY). Feel free to add a date of birth when it is accompanied by a citation to a reliable, published source. Eddie Blick (talk) 02:54, 25 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Rita De Crescenzo moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Rita De Crescenzo, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Recent edits in articles regarding South Tyrol[edit]

Dear Yeagvr, I noticed that you made several edits in articles regarding South Tyrol recently. Sadly most of them seem to be (let's say) unidirectional.

  • You moved the articles about the municipality of Franzensfeste to the Italian name Fortezza across multiple Wikipedia language projects. Do you even speak Danish, Catalan or Basque? Don't you think you might want to leave naming questions to the local Wikipedia communities? I see that some of your edits are already reverted. I'm surely not going to edit in Wikipedia projects I can't contribute for language reasons, so I'll leave it to you to undo your changes there...
  • Then I noticed that you seem invested in boldening Italian names in articles like Passeier Valley and Tyrol Castle, strangely, though, you didn't do the same thing with the German name, when you edited Salorno (and rightfully so, I might add). Anyway, it's long established consensus in articles regarding South Tyrol to avoid endless double names and boldening of multiple language versions for readability's sake. So please stop doing this.
  • Then you did a few other strange edits. In lists, where the German version appeared first, you made sure the Italian name appears first. When the German language version of an external website is given, you changed to the Italian version of that external website. And so on and on and on.

Nothing of all of this contributes to a quality improvement of our articles, so I'd like to kindly ask you to stop this here and now. Best regards, Mai-Sachme (talk) 09:04, 24 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Notice on contentious topics area Balkans or Eastern Europe[edit]

Introduction to contentious topics[edit]

You have recently been editing the Balkans or Eastern Europe which has been designated a contentious topic. This standard message is designed as an introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially-designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
refrain from gaming the system.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Hi thanks for creating this article. When we translate or borrow from other language wikis it’s a requirement to acknowledge the source. The best way to do this is to include it in your edit summary (e.g. “translated from nl.wiki”) and there’s also a translation template you can add to the talk page. I’ve added it for you. Happy editing and please leave a message on my talk page if you need any help Mccapra (talk) 21:45, 10 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for June 4[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Pizza in the United States, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Italian. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:06, 4 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Your recent edits of the history of Fort Bragg have been reverted because the events in the histories you have edited happened when Fort Bragg was known as such. The events since the name charge are proper territory for a name change but not the historic name of the fort in the history of articles. In the first instance of the article you may wish to link it as follows:Fort Bragg. Following material should just use Fort Bragg without any linking. After June 1st the proper name of the fort is fort Liberty and should be linked as such in history after that date.Cuprum17 (talk) 00:59, 5 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

June 2023[edit]

Information icon Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Russia. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. 25stargeneral (talk) 18:48, 24 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@25stargeneral: I didn’t add any personal opinions. If it's stated on a neutral encyclopaedia that Russia is a dictatorship, then it should be done with all the countries considered "not free", not democratic, according to Freedom House. The point is not Russia, but the double standards that are often applied to this country compared to the international scene. Yeagvr (talk) 19:34, 24 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Do not disrupt Wikipedia to illustrate a point. You edited the article Russia. Contrary to what you claim, the point of that article is Russia, and you should not be removing sourced information from it because of your views about other unrelated articles. 25stargeneral (talk) 20:29, 24 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@25stargeneral: Well, it is important to underline that the information supported by the sources you mention, are sources from two US universities and from the CIA’s World Factbook, the US government's espionage agency. In my opinion they are biased sources, especially the CIA’s one, that, for obvious reasons cannot be classified as an indipendent source. So just because there are sources, it doesn’t mean they are reliable and unbiased. Even Russian propaganda has many sources on the web, but they’re not reliable at all.
You consider it my personal opinion, but actually mine is a desire for neutrality that is not always present on English-language Wikipedia, especially since the overwhelming majority of its editors come from the Western world.
You could’ve opened a discussion about it, instead of reverting my edit. So you followed your views on the matter, as you claim I did. I've been on this project for 8 years so, while I'm not perfect, because nobody is, I feel like I can say I don't need lectures, so you could have left your message in a less pedantic tone. Despite everything, what I most want is to collaborate on this project with the utmost calm and tranquility with all the users.
I wish you a nice day :) Yeagvr (talk) 20:50, 24 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Actually it is you who should have discussed making the edit first, Russia clearly falls under contentious topic area the Balkans or Eastern Europe where editors are "advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations". Obviously removing that Russia is an authoritarian dictatorship is not an uncontroversial edit, and it would need consensus which you did not obtain. While editors can make bold edits, you shouldn't be surprised if you get reverted doing so. TylerBurden (talk) 16:06, 25 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Naples metro station moves - last warning[edit]

You have already been warned concerning WP:BOLD, and this is the last warning that for mass moves of established names you need to seek consensus first. If I see anything like this ever again I will block your account. Ymblanter (talk) 16:31, 17 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Ymblanter All the pages of the world’s stations have the title set in that way, I thought that asking for consent was rhetorical, on the other hand we do not ask for consent for every single edit that we commit, but especially for those controversial or questionable ones. Btw I understand that it may seem an arbitrary action because the pages were many, next time I will ask for consent. About this, should I ask on the talk page or in a project? Yeagvr (talk) 17:02, 17 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Your statement is incorrect, see Park Pobedy (Moscow Metro) or Baker Street tube station as counterexamples. The patterns are by country and sometimes even by city, and I am not sure what the Italian model is. The place to ask is Wikipedia:WikiProject Trains. Ymblanter (talk) 17:15, 17 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I didn’t see those pages, my bad. I’ve asked on the WikiProject. Thanks for pointing that out. Yeagvr (talk) 17:30, 17 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Apple Devices moved to draftspace[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Apple Devices. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page.

When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Schminnte [talk to me] 15:50, 16 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Apple Devices moved to draftspace[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Apple Devices. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and since this is only in preview, it is too soon for an article. It was already moved back to a draft once, and does not appear to have been significantly improved since then. Hence it should stay a draft until the utility of the software has been demonstrated. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Ldm1954 (talk) 21:48, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
