Hi there. I think you tagged this historical image by an inadvertent and unavoidable mistake because this image was revently vandalised. The article name of the fair use rationale was changed from "Konstantinos Karamanlis" to "Konstantinos Papandreou" (a name which does not exist) by a vandal, rendering the rationale useless. I suspect this was the reason for tagging it in the first place. I just reverted the vandal. Plus this is a historical picture of the very beginning of the restoration of Democracy in Greece during Metapolitefsi in 1974. It is absolutely necessary for the article. It shows the details of his arrival in Athens. It cannot be replaced because Karamanlis is deceased and Metapolitefsi is 34 years in the past. It is the picture of Karamanlis' arrival in Athens on the French President's Valéry Giscard d'Estaing's private jet to restore Democracy in Greece in July 1974. It is one of the most famous pictures of Modern Greek History. It shows the seminal moment of the restoration of Democracy in Greece. As such it is of invaluable historic significance. This picture has appeared in the front cover of all major Greek and international newspapers as for example Vradini. It significantly adds to the article because it depicts one of the greatest moments in the political life of the subject of the article. Could you possibly remove the tag? Thanks. Dr.K.
