DYK for Hilda Hilst[edit]

On 18 November 2023, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Hilda Hilst, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Hilda Hilst impersonated a journalist to meet Marlon Brando, and asked him about Franz Kafka's works? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Hilda Hilst. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Hilda Hilst), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Hi. Why didn't you move this along with the article? Jenks24 (talk) 08:26, 24 November 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

@Jenks24: It wasn't moved because Talk:Ashley Lawrence was a redirect, which meant that the page couldn't be moved automatically (or at least that's what I think is the cause). I can move the page later if you want, or you could file a request at WP:RM/TR. — MaterialWorks 11:20, 24 November 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Yeah, I assume it wouldn't have allowed you to move over the redirect as delete-redirect would not apply automatically to the accompanying talk page (see phab:T12814, similar issue even for sysops requiring multiple actions in a case like this). If you had just missed that talk page didn't get moved along with it that would make sense to me, that's fairly common. But I don't understand this edit because it means you noticed the talk page wasn't synchronised with its article and that edit also made you unable to fix it using delete-redirect. Could you please get an admin to fix it either at RM/TR or tagging it G6? Thanks, Jenks24 (talk) 12:09, 24 November 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Hi[edit]

You struck my messages at 2023 Hamas attack on Israel, citing a tje ARBCOM ruling that only extended confirmed users can edit Palestine/Israel articles. I am extended protected, so please self-revrt. —M3ATH (Moazfargal · Talk) 07:33, 28 November 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

@Moazfargal: I have fixed this for you, as I'm sure MaterialWorks would do if currently online. SilverLocust 💬 08:07, 28 November 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Your name was not showing up as extended confirmed with UserHighlighterSimple for some reason, sorry for that. Thanks SilverLocust! — mw (talk) (contribs) 09:32, 28 November 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
