    Jonathan Newhouse (born March 30, 1952) is Chairman and Chief Executive of Conde Nast International, a division of the America publisher Condé Nast, which publishes the overseas editions of Vogue, [Fair], Glamour, [Quarterly']', '[[1]] and other magazines. He was appointed to his current position in 1991. Under his direction, the Conde Nast International expanded from 7 countries to 29, launching into Asia, Eastern Europe, Africa and Latin America. Editions of Vogue were started in Russia (1998), Japan (1999), China (2005) and India (2007), and a weekly Vanity Fair was started in Italy in 2003. Glamour was introduced as the first women’s glossy magazine to be published in the smaller pocket size, an innovation which was widely adopted in the industry.

           Conde Nast is part of Advance Publications, a media company privately owned by the Newhouse family. He is a first cousin to Samuel I (Si) Newhouse Jr., the Chairman of Advance. He is married to Ronnie Cooke Newhouse, a fashion industry advertising creative director.

           He was named an Officer in the Order of Arts and Letters of France in 2008.
