Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

what........ HT495... I didn't- I'm so confused right now... Cyclone Toby 12:56, 26 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Can't say I didn't expect this, but a sock? Really? โ€” Yours, Berrelyย (๐ŸŽ…ย Hoย hoย ho!ย ๐ŸŽ„)ย โ€ขย Talkโˆ•Contribs 14:28, 26 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • For general awareness: HurricaneTracker495 was globally locked, so they won't be able to respond on this talk page. GeneralNotability (talk) 18:03, 26 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Further posts of disappointment
  • HT495, I know you were locked and can't respond, but like Berrely said, I can't say I didn't think this would happen. HT495, you really need to rethink some things if you want to come back to Wikipedia (WITHOUT socking). It's going to be hard to come back, and harder to gain trust from people. I didn't think that you would go as far away from policy as socking. You have a lot of thinking to do. ๐™ฒ๐š˜๐š๐š’๐š—๐š๐™ฒ๐šข๐šŒ๐š•๐š˜๐š—๐šŽ แด›แด€สŸแด‹ 22:11, 26 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • As per above, I realize that they won't be able to respond, but I feel the need to say a few things. First off, it really sucks seeing yet another WPTC member get blocked for sock-puppetry within close to a month. Secondly, I have lost a tremendous amount of trust from this user. I now realize that they were indeed very hypocritical, as they were a sock-puppet here, but also they seemed to be heavily involved in finding and helping block socks, especially with Destroyeraa, even going as far as to suggest a witch-hunt to make sure that Destroyeraa did not make any more fake accounts, or advocating that we get someone to CU all new members of the WPTC within the past 6 months, to ensure that they aren't a sock. Very hypocritical. Third, this user definitely needs to work on some things if they ever get unblocked. I mean, like we seriously need to consider a mentor-ship, but like I said, only if they ever get their block lifted. This user clearly did not understand how to properly use Wikipedia, including the different terms, rules, and everything in between, as shown by the amount of reprimands and warnings within their user-talk page. Obviously, this user is not cut out to be a Wikipedia user. All in all, I hope that one day they may return, and actually take advice seriously and learn how to properly use Wikipedia instead of creating chaos. And one more thing, I would like to give a formal apology to all of the users who tried to help steer HT495 in the right direction. You all did it in good faith, but unfortunately it was not returned. I am very sorry about that. ๐ŸŒ€Weatherman27๐Ÿˆ (Chat|Edits|sandbox) 07:07, 27 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oh, I've interacted with HurricaneTracker495 several times during Wikipedia. Sometimes I thought this guy's edits were fairly good, sometimes not. Sad to know (s)he fell for multiple-account-gaming...I wouldn't do that.--CyclonicallyDeranged (talk) 11:26, 27 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Iโ€™ve seen this and would like to respond, but canโ€™t do so right now. But I will leave this right here: the sockmaster here is User:Andrew5. GMXping! 21:33, 27 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

UTRS 38902 declined

UTRS appeal #38902 has been declined. Sorry to see this. The Stewards won't unlock until someone agrees to unblock locally. You admit to meat, so the best you might hope for is the standard offer. Your final avenue of appeal is to email the Arbitration Committee at arbcom-en@wikimedia.org. But again, admittedly socking per WP:MEAT or WP:proxying. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 19:24, 26 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
