Reverting disruptive edits

Hi, When you are reverting vandalism and other disruptive edits (for example, this one), could you make sure you add the relevant warning template to the talk page please? ANI Experiences survey

The Wikimedia Foundation Community health initiative (led by the Safety and Support and Anti-Harassment Tools team) is conducting a survey for en.wikipedia contributors on their experience and satisfaction level with the Administrator’s Noticeboard/Incidents. This survey will be integral to gathering information about how this noticeboard works - which problems it deals with well, and which problems it struggles with.

The survey should take 10-20 minutes to answer, and your individual responses will not be made public. The survey is delivered through Google Forms. ArbCom 2017 election voter message

Hello, Finlay McWalter. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Nomination of Nonce (slang) for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Nonce (slang) is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nonce (slang) until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Sandon School

Hello,

I work for the Sandon School and have been asked to upload the information that you removed. How do I add this without someone just removing it? I can reference all of the information back to our prospectus that is on our website and public information, but had not fished working on it before you removed it! Shame someone wasn't so quick to removed the inaccurate information on sex offenders which appeared on the page 2 days ago.

Please let me know what I have to do.

Before you do anything else, you should read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest. Editing an article about your employer is generally a poor idea. My very very very strong suggestion to you, and to the person who told you to do this, is not to edit the article at all, in any form, for any reason. Even if it is factual and can be referenced by an official and reliable source? If this is not possible, how do we get the page completely removed? None of what was put on the page was copyright. There is no conflict of interest in putting factual information onto this page, there is no bias and no hidden agenda. For example, the information about the catchment area, that is available of the school website and also via Essex county council, why would you remove that? It is 100% factual. I have and do not see how they apply in this case. Basically I could get someone else who is not associated with the school to put the information onto the page and that will be fine. You are being ridiculous!
