A significant amount of content was removed as part of the review process because the tone of the writing was not encyclopedic, and as you can see from the article history several experienced editors have made additional changes after my review. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Chyskillz. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Hi, you can not keep reverting. This section: [1] was removed as non-encyclopedic by Primefac who is an administrator here on Wikipedia. I also agree with him. To restore disputed content, you need to have a consensus by discussing with editors on the articles talk page. Edit warring by continuing to revert multiple editors will likely result in a block. How to write articles that don't get deleted[edit]

If you're going to write an article about anyone or anything, here are the steps you should follow:

1) Gather as many professionally-published mainstream academic or journalistic sources you can find. This does not include Discogs entries, forum posts, or almost all Youtube videos.

2) Focus on just the ones that are not dependent upon or affiliated with the subject, but still specifically about the subject and providing in-depth coverage (not passing mentions). If you do not have at least three such sources, the subject is not yet notable and trying to write an article at this point will only fail. Interviews with the subject are not always regarded as independent.

3) Summarize those sources from step 2, adding citations at the end of them. You'll want to do this in a program with little/no formatting, like Microsoft Notepad or Notepad++, and not in something like Microsoft Word or LibreOffice Writer. This removes any worries about "I worked hard on it," because you still have a copy.

4) Combine overlapping summaries (without arriving at new statements that no individual source supports) where possible, repeating citations as needed.

5) Paraphrase the whole thing just to be extra sure you've avoided any copyright violations or plagiarism.

6) Use the Article wizard to post this draft and wait for approval.

7) Expand the article using sources you put aside in step 2 (but make sure they don't make up more than half the sources for the article, and make sure that affiliated sources don't make up more than half of that).

What went wrong[edit]

You didn't actually follow the advice that I gave you. You tried to follow parts of it, but there was a lot of your most recent attempt that shows that you missed the point.

Anyone can create entries on Wordpress, Facebook, Discogs, Youtube, or Soundcloud -- those are not reliable sources. You still cited over a dozen such sources. Even if the Soundcloud page you cited actually does belong to Who$sane, there's still the problem that that source is not independent. Our notability standards require the article to cite reliable sources that are independent of the subject. This means that you need to cite stuff that was written by people who are paid to write news for a living, who do not work for Gang Green or any of the companies they have worked with or for.

You found a few sources that might be useful, but you did not focus only on those. You also did not provide good citations that would allow anyone to verify that the source is good. For example, when you cited Stacy Gueraseva's "Def Jam, Inc." you did not provide a page number. No one is going to take the time to read the whole book to find the part that maybe you were citing to support the claim that ONYX left Def Jam.

You also did not use the Article wizard to post a draft instead of posting in article space. This would have resulted in a page called "Draft:Gang Green," which could have been reviewed by other editors who would have given you advice on how to improve the article.

Thank you, but please do not add them back. I gave edit summaries the first time I removed a lot of this content, it's laborious to do it again. It simply is not encyclopedic, it's a lot of detail and boasting. Discuss on the talk page of the article why you think it belongs. Also look at other pages on Wikipedia and see how they are written. Lastly, there is a manual of style as well, there is a welcome message further up this page with many links about how to best attempt to contribute to the encyclopedia. I also appreciate your efforts, but it is important that this encyclopedia stay well-written and well-sourced, and doesn't become a fansite or blog with personal opinions. JesseRafe I need advice or help from you as an experienced user. I spent the time to find at least some photo for this article Sonny Seeza to illustrate the artist, but I did not find any free photo, so I was forced to upload an image File:Sonny Seeza.jpg with fair use rationale WP:FUR. I wrote about all this in the photo description as "No free equivalent". But Hullaballoo Wolfowitz removed this file from an article with the reason that this image is "‎nonfree image in BLP infobox". He deleted the image from the article without even paying attention to the fact that it is used with fair use rationale. After that he added template "{{Di-replaceable fair use" in the photo description. Then i added another reason for the irreplaceability. After that, I returned the photo to the article, but Hullaballoo Wolfowitz again removed this photo from an article with the reason "obvious WP:NFCC#1 violation". But I believe that there's no WP:NFCC#1 violation and use of the image is consistent with fair-use provisions. Now this image is not used anywhere. After 7 days, it will be automatically deleted. Hi Felix, sorry, I don't know much about file uploading. I assume you read Wikipedia:Uploading images because you seem to be familiar with a lot of the concepts so you may know more than me on the topic. Have you tried the help desk? You start a comment on Wikipedia:Help desk, you can probably copy and paste most of what you wrote here (remember to copy from the edit screen, not the html "printed" screen or you'd have to make your links all over again). The editors who frequent the help desk (I'm not sure if they're all admins/sysops) volunteer and are there because they take the time and will look at your issue as you present it, unclear other instances of a conflict in which folks may be moving too fast to fully consider your rationale -- like for instance, when you and I had conflicting opinions on what should go in the Onyx article, or Hullaballoo may be acting in good faith because to him or her it may be a bigger problem that Wikipedia could be sued for copyright violations with that photo than the smaller problem of one article not having an image in the infobox.
