Reminder[edit]

Hey man, I'm Beraniladri19, a friend of HurricaneParrot. Just to remind you that pls use this format (eg :- October 29, 2021) instead of this format (eg:- 2021-10-29) while inserting the date on the date parameter. Another thing, use author parameter instead of the traditional last and first parameter, as it really makes the author's name very confusing (not to mention, weird). Favour[edit]

Mate, can you add the seasonal outlook of the Australian region ? Here's the archived link :- https://perma.cc/R4S3-JRY6, and the actual link :- http://www.bom.gov.au/climate/cyclones/australia/. And use a similar style used in the 2019-20 Australian region cyclone season#Seasonal forrecasts. Thanks Beraniladri19 🌀🌀 02:51, 24 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Beraniladri19, slr. I'll try my best. :) Cyclonicationly (talk) 09:04, 25 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I moved your draft to the main article. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 18:07, 5 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please check for drafts[edit]

Hey Cyclonicationly. I wanted to let you know that you should check for a draft version of an article before creating it. About 2 hours before you created Storm Barra, a draft version was created. We got lucky this time, since the editors who got pinged about the draft had not edited it yet, so it qualified for a speedy delete. If one of the pinged editors had edited though, the draft would have not qualified for speedy delete and we would have had to let it be in draft space for 6 months until auto delete. That is sort of the situation we had with Cyclone Jawad, so to avoid future problems like that, please check for draft versions before creating an article. Elijahandskip (talk) 14:25, 7 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Elijahandskip:, kindly accept my apologies. I'm also thinking of that but I immediately published my sandbox into the main because Barra really threatens Ireland and the UK. I do remember LightandDark2000's reasoning on the draft problem with Jawad:

Honestly, the draft should've been created directly in the article mainspace instead of the draft space, since it concerned an ongoing/recent event - drafts rarely receive the widespread attention that articles on current events require, anyway.

I'll try not to do this mistake again. Cyclonicationly (talk) 03:12, 8 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Ah don't worry about it. No harm done and to be completely honest, what you published was a lot more informative and a lot better than the draft was. I would have put it in mainspace, but at the time of draft creation, there was an infobox and 4 or 5 sentences with 3 references. It wasn't much and I didn't feel like it was actually ready for mainspace at that time. If there had been more information in the season's article (As it was a copy/paste draft creation), I probably would have created the article straight away. But hey, no harm done and I actually really am glad you did create the article in mainspace. Hope you have a wonderful day editing! Elijahandskip (talk) 03:22, 8 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Weather 2022 C/B Class Drive[edit]

Hello Cyclonicationly! WikiProject Weather is doing a drive during 2022 to get all new 2022 weather articles to at least C class, with the hope of B Class. I thought you might be interested in the WP Weather drive, so I wanted to drop a message about it. Elijahandskip (talk) 14:05, 31 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

55:15 Never Too Late moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, 55:15 Never Too Late, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
