Your GA nomination of Costa Concordia disaster[edit]

The article Costa Concordia disaster you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:Costa Concordia disaster for comments about the article, and Talk:Costa Concordia disaster/GA1 for the nomination. Well done! If the article has not already appeared on the main page as a "Did you know" item, or as a bold link under "In the News" or in the "On This Day" prose section, you can nominate it within the next seven days to appear in DYK. Bolded names with dates listed at the bottom of the "On This Day" column do not affect DYK eligibility. Robert Todd Lincoln[edit]

You haven't posted anything since July 1 at Talk:Robert Todd Lincoln/GA2. If you don't want/don't have time to do the Review now - whatever the situation is, that's cool. I'll follow the instructions at WP:GAN/I#N4a and release the article back into the pool of articles waiting for a GA Review. Just let me know what you want to do. Cheers, Shearonink (talk) 14:29, 8 July 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

User:Shearonink, Sorry, I've been pretty busy. I'll complete it late today or tomorrow. Cessaune [talk] 14:50, 8 July 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
No worries, thanks for your quick response. Just checking in - Shearonink (talk) 15:08, 8 July 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

DYK for 2023 NCAA Division I men's basketball championship game[edit]

On 12 July 2023, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article 2023 NCAA Division I men's basketball championship game, which you recently nominated. The fact was ... that Jordan Hawkins won the 2023 NCAA Division I men's basketball championship game a day after his cousin won the women's championship? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/2023 NCAA Division I men's basketball championship game. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, 2023 NCAA Division I men's basketball championship game), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

DYK for Costa Concordia disaster[edit]

On 13 July 2023, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Costa Concordia disaster, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that during the sinking of the Costa Concordia, Gregorio de Falco told Francesco Schettino "Vada a bordo, cazzo!" which loosely translates to "Get back on board, for fuck's sake"? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Costa Concordia disaster. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Costa Concordia disaster), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Costa Concordia[edit]

Hi. Regarding our edits, what are the two things you're referring to? Can you clarify? Thanks. :-) Nightscream (talk) 13:53, 31 August 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Also, looking through that souce, I don't see any mention of artifacts falling into private possession, or the "respect" for the victims. Nightscream (talk) 13:58, 31 August 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Yikes, I was lazy and the revert was premature. As far as I'm aware, the article makes no substantial mention of anything pertaning to "respect for the victims". The sentence before is verified in the article, underneath the header Samedi 18 octobre 2014, la sécurisation du Costa Concordia est terminée.
