Lumines Puzzle Fusion

Now that the FAC is closed, will you be able to assist with the article?Blue Pumpkin Pie (talk) 13:37, 13 October 2022 (UTC)

Hi Blue Pumpkin Pie. Short answer is yes, as promised. I can see your determination in getting this to FAC, and in the spirit of the project, I can lend a hand. I'll keep away until you've worked your way through all the commentary and done all you can to address the points raised. I really recommend reading aloud, reading on a different device (e.g. your phone), a different browser etc. Do please have a look through the articles I linked to as guidance; the redundancy exercises are particularly helpful. I like the principle (I think Czar once referred me to it, but I can't remember who it was attributed to) of recasting sentences to say the same thing in as few words as possible, with no loss of integrity. That's a big thing brought up with respect to 1a.
Once you're satisfied, and in the two-week interim, I'd recommend opening a peer review as suggested. You'll need it open for a a couple of weeks to get the commentary you need. Ping the other FAC commenters. When you have the PR open, I'll further my commentary there and do some copy-editing (if you'd like me to and if you like my writing). I think I've got a pretty decent handle on Reception sections, which is one of the main points broached that led to my oppose (examples of my writing/editing: 1, 2, 3). I currently only have 3 FAs hanging on my wall, so I can't technically mentor you. I'd recommend engaging either of Czar (pinged above), Masem or Fuchs; they would be most ideal for the job (if any have the time or willingness). — CR4ZE (TC) 13:57, 13 October 2022 (UTC)

APARKS MOS

Hey, it has been a while since we last chatted! I wanted to personally propose to you and some members of WP:APARKS whether we should have a Manuel of style guide for our articles, namely roller coasters, amusement parks, attractions, and manufacturers. Although we do have Wikipedia:WikiProject Amusement Parks/Standards for three of the aforementioned, they do not go explicitly into detail about what content may or may not be important or appropriate for inclusion. It could be beneficial for new members and experienced alike, as I do know we have come to a consensus on points in the past, but we do not have an area where we can point to an explanation outside of digging through the archive bin.

Some issues relevant for roller coaster articles to give you an idea are, for instance: what kinds of reviews or polls should we include in reception, what incidents or accidents are important enough for inclusion, what part of the history should be mentioned, and the short and long-term status of roller coasters? Obviously, we may know most of these answers, but newcomers may not. I know when I started out, I read hundreds of our articles to see how previous editors structured theirs and what content they included that was pertinent or important. Passing idea, I am thinking about typing up at User:Adog/sandbox2 and also wondered if you would like to contribute if it is feasible. We all have a good grip on amusement parks and roller coaster standards. Attractions are kinda in the grey area and most certainly manufacturers. Adog (TalkCont) 21:55, 26 July 2023 (UTC)

Thank you today for the article, introduced (in 2014): "Grand Theft Auto V is a 2013 video game, and the latest entry into the culturally significant Grand Theft Auto series. The game's five year development cycle was one of the biggest undertakings in the industry, and the game was subject to enormous hype. It shattered records for the entire entertainment industry and is on track to be the best-selling video game ever."! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:44, 17 September 2023 (UTC)

Reliable source

Does IGN not count as a reliable source?

or was it the gears website or sportskeeda? ゴースト・オブ・ツシマ (talk) 07:07, 5 December 2023 (UTC)

Hi ゴースト・オブ・ツシマ. IGN news articles are reliable, not wikis/guides; neither of the other two are listed at WP:VG/RS. Hope this helps. — CR4ZE (TC) 07:11, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
