I think the answer to your question (posed here) is that there are literally thousands of productions of the play every year that we could include. The threshold has to be whether the reliable academic sources write of any particular production as significant in the history of the play.

If you'd like to continue this discussion, I suggest we do so at the article's talk page, Talk:A Midsummer Night's Dream, rather than here, since more people will be able to see it and comment. AndyJones (talk) 12:34, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

April 2017[edit]

Information icon Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to While My Guitar Gently Weeps. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Sundayclose (talk) 20:05, 2 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Personal analysis or commentary?? There was neither in my addition to the article. It merely added information about a cover version that was not yet mentioned. If you did not agree with the tone of what I wrote, you were most welcome to edit the paragraph to make it more suitable of course, rather than simply deleting it. --Bjørn Clasen (talk) 04:18, 3 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

There are two issues. It was deleted per WP:SONGCOVER. We don't include every cover of every song. The personal commentary is "legendary in its country", very much your unsourced opinion. Sundayclose (talk) 14:01, 3 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
